1 Pack - Boat Vent Cap 2 for Boat Cover

Order was as seen in photo but missing the reinforcement fabric for the underside. Product is great overall just beware that you will need a 2 1/2" circle to cut out for the vent. This hole must be exact so you don't cover the vent holes and not to big or it will continue to tear the cover. Quick and easy install, hardest part is figuring out where you want to put them. This will do the job it says it will and no more mold when you take the cover off.

Easily install work perfectly. Mark where you want to have the whole that accompanies the boat cap vent and I used chalk that worked well a sharp pair of scissors will help don't get over ambitious with the h o l e.

I bought this to repair my cover where a rear support pole ripped thru. Since you have to cut your cover anyways installing these vents it accomplished two things at once for me. Like another reviewer said, the bottom of a plastic solo cup is the exact circle cutout you need (2.25" in diameter). If you actually lookup the manufacturers instructions its those exact dimensions too. That hole size is needed so the vent part can be unobstructed when installed. Essentially there are 3 parts: the top, bottom, and the nut/washer. The top goes on the outside of the cover, the bottom goes on the underside of your cover and the nut/washer tightens it all down. Worked perfectly and now my cover is repaired/better than before. Also be aware that there is a Version 3 of this for covers that don't have reinforced areas on the cover. Version 2 (this one) is for reinforced covers only.

One of these flew off during a multi-state tow from our 2019 Malibu cover. I'm sure it was our fault for not ensuring that it was screwed on tightly before the trip. This is the exact replacement for what was there.

I was looking for one replacement cap after losing one off of our boat cover. I wasn't sure on the size, but took a guess on this working and it was great. A good tight fit so far, I will see how it lasts thru the winter being in storage, but snapped together easily over the canvas of our cover.

I had a small tear in my expensive pool cover and bought this with the primary intention of using the "clamp" feature to hold the tear/fabric together and keep it from ripping any further.This little cap more than does it job in holding it together, and while my tear wasn't exactly centered or where i would put a support pole, i did end up using it for one. Helps in keeping the rain to roll right off the back half of the cover. I do notice a bit of difference under the cover in temp, but it's still wicked hot (no fault of the vent though - it's just summer in Florida)I'll be buying another one, maybe 2 of these to replace my other support pole toppers. do wish they made a combo solar fan one to better help in moving the air under the cover. Overall, this is a great boat cover vent. Simple & effective design that doesn't cost a lot to add !!
