I just received this today and I believe it's the best for my 5 year old daughter to learn with!

This product is amazing. The pages are designed to be cut out. They would be better in a box already cut out, but I still love them. As a teacher, this is a great product to have and use for several of the CCRS.

Generally I love Scholastic products for my classroom but these books are almost useless. The pages are so thin that when you try to copy them for the class you get a show through from the page behind. I tried lightening the image and it became splotchy. I can't even use them unless I purchase individual books for each child and that is just not feasible. The short passages seem fine and the questions are predictable but skill focused which is good. I'll return these and buy the boxed set.

The tasks are interesting and useful, however it's written for the American market so the spelling is not UK English. I wish I'd known this before.i bought all three versions!
