Stylus - white

Bamboo Feel and the Surface Pro 2 - my experience
First -- I LOVE this stylus. The only issue I have with this stylus is that it's a "blah" color (white -- which is, BTW, IMO, certainly better than the completely boring black).Second -- the only things I use this stylus for is (a) to navigate on the tablet and (b) to write by hand on the screen - on pdfs for grading, on pptx to annotate, with OneNote to take meeting notes and to create my own batch of notes on things I want to remember. No more piles of paper for me! I do not use this stylus to draw or draft.Comparing the Bamboo Feel to the MS SP2 stylus -- it's really in the personal feel of the implement. I wanted a fatter barrel than the SP2 stylus offers as well as "more drag" on the screen to better duplicate the tactile experience of writing on paper. The Bamboo Feel has given me BOTH of these. In terms of functionality, I do not miss the eraser "on the other end" because I'm a pen writer anyway (and you generally can't erase ink on paper), so the fact that I can still erase by calling up the erase function in my application is - quite frankly - "gravy".The Bamboo Feel takes full advantage of the pen-enabled tablet - I can lay my entire hand on the surface and my handwriting on the screen now looks just like what it would look like on real paper. Yes, I've noticed a tiny registration issue on the left side of the screen, but you get accustomed to that and adjust within a very short "training" time (use). It doesn't bother me that the Bamboo Feel does not "click" into the holder for the SP2 stylus. So many other people complain about that mounting style anyway that this falls into the category of "no big deal" for me. I bought a "Plum Purple VG Neoprene Sleeve Cover" for my SP2 the same time I got the stylus so I can pop the stylus right into the front zipper pouch of the sleeve to keep the stylus with the SP2 at all times! (Love the cover almost as much as the stylus!)The only negative I can call up about this stylus is actually about the graphic instructions to change the nib - which I still don't quite get. However, once I actually have to change the nib, maybe the instructions will make sense while I'm doing it.This stylus is practically perfect in every way for me. The only way I'd get a different one is if I found one that was purple (or polka-dotted). (Wacom -- take note!)

Slightly expensive but best Surface Pro 2 stylus...and it's by the trusted, Wacom!
Two for two so far. Previously I got an iPad 4 with Adonit Jot Touch 4 Stylus that works like a charm..........and now I have a Surface Pro 2 with this Wacom Bamboo Feel Stylus that also works like a charm(except for Wacom's or Microsoft's buggy calibration on the corners of the the tablet screen).Ugh...not sure if they have a fix for that yet.Overall this thing works where I need it too. I gave it 5 stars because the Stylus works great itself. And from my research I found that "corner calibration bug" is not the stylus fault but the screen technology ofWacom or Microsoft. It's a common defect in most Surface Pro/Stylus issues I've read. Hopefully it is fixed by now.But it doesn't really slow down any of my workflow. It has only one button on the side but I wish it had an extra button on the side so I could assign a different keystroke on it.The tip has a bit of a soft feel (it's not rubber) but if you press too hard on the screen it has a bit of friction (sometimes squeaky) feel to it. If you like to make "hard" strokes when you draw then I would recommend just sticking with the default stylus that comes with the Surface Pro.Pros: Pressure sensitivity works great, drawing feels great, works with all Windows OS art tools too!Cons: Expensive, only one side button, very slight rubbery feel to tip when pressing hard

"Feel" the difference with Wacom's beautiful Stylus.
This is a beautifully built stylus and works fabulous. I appreciate it comes with different type nibs so you can find the one you prefer to use. It also comes with a circular nib remover to make it easier to switch nibs. I love the white color. My biggest grief is the slightly rough exterior of the stylus barrel. It irritates my hands after a while. Also, the cap on the back of the stylus pulls it off balance with its weight. It's best not to use the cap on the back of the pen if you're working detailed art work.I'm using my stylus with the Microsoft Surface Pro 1. Works beautifully. I installed the Wacom drivers to get the full ability of the pen.Worth getting. I have not regretted getting this great stylus.

Not designed for Note Pro 12.2
I wanted to love this, I tried very hard to love this. There is a definite offset (to the left or the right, depending on how you hold it) when using this on the new Galaxy Pro 12.2The stylus feels great in hand, sturdy, smooth, really excellent. I tried very hard to just get over the offset, but I really can't. It just impacts my handwriting too much.If you hold it perpendicular it is spot on, but angling to either side, as you would when writing, shifts the calibration over just enough to really mar the user experience. I'll be returning and hoping they come out with a new one to purchase in its place.

A flawed, yet still improved input device for the Surface
I bought this for my Surface Pro. This may be my ineptitude, or more the fault of the digitizer as opposed to the pen, but I can't seem to get it very accurate using the preferred Wacom drivers. Same sort of issue with the included pen, so I'm willing to bet it's the driver/digitizer.Anyway, aside from that it is okay. It is definitely more tip-accurate than the stock pen. The cap doesn't really stay on the back end of it when not in use. The button on the side is tiny and flush with the rest of the pen so unless I actively hold the pen correctly before I know I have to use it, I lose track of it. It also does not have an eraser end like the included pen.

Better than the included Note 10.1 stylus, with caveats
I definitely like the feel of this stylus better than the one included with the Note 10.1. It would be a 5-star product except sometimes it registers a screen touch while the pen is still above the surface. This seems to happen in some software more than others, and I don't see the same problem with the default stylus. I tried adjusting the sensitivity of the stylus but that did not help the problem. If you want to adjust the sensitivity of yours, it is the same as for the default stylus (adjusting a potentiometer after removing the button cover -- search youtube for videos of how to do this).

Well constructed, but....
I have quite a few different styluses, but I was tempted to purchase this after reading so much about what a difference the heavier weight made in the drawing experience.I was disappointed to discover that most of the difference in weight between this one and others resides in the cap! So if you like drawing with a top - heavy stylus, great - - but if you were expecting a firmer 'plant' on the screen, forget it. Myself, I've gone back to the more standard white Wacom which feels almost the same in total weight (minus cap with the Bamboo) and it gives me an erasing tip -- which I still use a lot.The other major difference I found between this and my other pens is the pressure response. Even when I tried to tweak it using the micro pots (under the barrel side switch cover) the highest 'level' reading I could get was somewhere around 60 percent of my other pens. The response was smooth, and I could use pressure response curves in my software to compensate, but not without giving up the ability to substitute my other pens without readjusting those curves. All in all -- not a good purchase decision (for me).

The pen is heavy and write very nicely on Surface Pro tablet
I got my Wacom Bamboo Feel Stylus last month. The pen is heavy and write very nicely on Surface Pro tablet.I had the original pen but felt too ''flimzly'' , too light and cheap. So I am glad that I could not find it anymore and urgentlyI bought this one. Very happy. Now back to work !

Works great, a bit delicate.
This works great on the Surface 2 pro. Only downside is that it can crack, mine did. But it still works.

Side Switch
I would have preferred that the side switch was more detectable by feel, perhaps if it bulged slightly from the stylus body

Nice feel and design
Use it with my surface pro, definitely an upgrade if you are looking for a better pen.
