As a classroom teacher, I go through a lot of cheap electronic sharpeners. I decided to purchase one that cost more than I normally would spend. This pencil sharpener does not disappoint! It will sharpen in about 2 seconds, perfectly every time! About two weeks ago it stopped working. I wrote the company letting them know it was broken. They wrote, back right away, a very detailed message with various ways to try and get it going again. They even offered to just replace it if I didn’t want to try and fix it!! That kind of customer service is so rare these days. I tried one of their suggestions and it works just fine. Overall, I’m very impressed with their customer service, and the product is excellent! Definitely a great purchase for classrooms.

Being a Artist who sharpens dozens of pencils daily this sharpener is a heavy duty for longer pencils. Worth the money to pay more for an item that will last over a cheaper model that won't. I purchased 2 at the same order and the extra is still unused. Quality, durable, blade is still sharp 8 months and going.

Works great! As a teacher, the pencil sharpener is the most used tool in the classroom and so far this one is measuring up. And I love the color. It’s not as noisy as a lot of others are and it’s easy to empty when it gets full. And the suction cups on the bottom are a great added benefit so you don’t have to hold the pencil sharpener while you’re trying to put the pencil in. I love this pencil sharpener.

Great sharpener but quit after 6months in a 1st grade classroom. As a room parent, I purchased this sharpener because I would visit the classroom weekly to help with papers and sharpen pencils. The auto stop was a fantastic feature! So quick to sharpen at least 100 pencils per week. But it suddenly quit after less than 6 months of use and the price went up. (November to May) I was considering purchasing a replacement as a teacher gift but I’ll shop other brands.

I unboxed the unit and actually read the little manual. 2 important takeaway were maintaining the angle and auto stopping point pressure. I tested this sharpener's abilities by resharpening approximately 24 pencils in a row. This unit far exceeded my expectations for speed, quality and predictable output Cuts at angle that produces wood to lead ratio for optimum strength and use between sharpenings (the lead is long enough to provide good mileage but not so long that the tip is fragile) Motor disengages at precisely the correct length every time. This thing is a breeze to operate and very predictable and did I mention ridiculously fast. The shaving tray is ample size however, once sharpened, spec, the machining tolerances are so tight that there's no detectable waste material to fill up the tray. Only what is needed to bring the point back into specs. I highly recommend purchasing this unit because of the ease of use, speed and predictably excellent performance for a very low price. It is no louder than any other electric pencil sharpener I've ever used and even if it was it wouldn't matter because, at 2½ seconds (max), it would be hardly noticeable anyway.

This is by far the BEST pencil sharpener I’ve bought… we do home school, and go through a lot of pencils. We’ve used the name brand ones, but they’ve all been underpowered… leaving me pretty disappointed. THIS sharpener is really powerful, quick, and has its own stop function so it eats just the right amount of the pencil… AND it’s always straight! No more crooked sharpening, being perfectly pointed with wood at the tip. If you’re on the fence about this purchase, just go ahead and take the leap. You won’t be mad that you did.
