I am not one to write reviews but just had to share this....I am 54 yrs old and very straight short sparse lashes, in fact from trying to grow with lash serums, they have grown in all directions including downward, plus I have hooded eyes! I gave up on trying to curl them because I would lose precious lashes and after applying mascara they would uncurl immediately! I have tried thousands of mascaras believe me. This is the holy grail of curling mascara, I was able to lift and keep the unruly ones in place...all day! This is it. Finally found one that does what it says!

I am very pale and have blonde hair, so black and even dark brown mascara look pretty extreme on me. For everyday wear I prefer colored mascara, but I also need waterproof as I wear contacts and have an active lifestyle. I was so excited when I found this mascara as it is a great color that helps me eyelashes actually be visible without so much stark contrast and it is WATERPROOF! I use Pond's Cold Cream to remove it and follow it up with Simple Micellar Gel wash and it comes off, but even with rewetting contacts, going out in the rain, and showering after a workout it does not budge. It isn't super thickening, but it lengthens and defines nicely. The burgundy color is a little lighter/brighter than Maybelline Snapscara (which I also like, but it is definitely not waterproof unfortunately), but I really like it. The tube doesn't have the little inner rim that wipes the brush, but I haven't had any issues as a result. I often pair it with bronze eyeliner, but the picture attached is with grey.
