Great saddle!!!
So I tried this saddle on my horse today and it has a very nice deep seat. It fit me and my horse like a glove. He tried to throw me today but I was able to stay in this saddle threw my boys fit lol.

Just what I thought
Perfect light weight saddle. I rode 7hrs on a hunt and it held up perfect. I did buy a seat cushion, the seat has zero padding. For the price I feel like I got my moneys worth. I also had to use a gel non slip silicon pad so the saddle didn’t slide, but keep in mind I always have to use one with any saddle for my barrel of a qh.

wide saddle
We have two gaited horses, a quarter horse and a half draft horse. The saddle will only fit the draft horse. It is a very good looking saddle It is just too wide.

Ok for a short period of time.
I purchased this exact saddle though Chick's Discount Saddlery nearly 3 years ago, they have since quit carrying this model. For the first few months it was awesome, it fit a wide variety of horses from a 900lb slender TWH to a 1300lb tank of a Quarter Horse. It was comfortable to ride in. However, after a few months of sparse riding (maybe 3-4 times a month for 4 months, due to extremely cold weather) the suede on the saddle horn became loose, after a year a tack fell out of the under side of the pommel, my husband went over the saddle and repaired loose tacks and stabilized them with super glue. After another few months the breast collar D-ring fell out, while I was riding (NOT SAFE!). I also would like to state that I take excellent care of my tack. The saddle was kept in the dry, cleaned regularly, and used gently. I would recommend this saddle only in a pinch. If you need something cheap to get you by for a few months while you save up for a good quality saddle then this is perfect, but if you need something to use for years to come go for a well made known brand name saddle. It will not hold up to daily use over a long period of time. Short trail rides every now and then it may be alright. I ended up trading it to a girl for a contoured saddle pad, she wanted something she could swim with...
