This lighter is great! I actually got two of them, one for myself and one for my husband. We’ve dubbed them our Sunset Lighters because the pink/orange reminds us of our favorite sunsets. Husband has had 0 problems refilling them—we have refilled them several times now and they still work as if they are brand new. All you need is one of those small nozzle butane bottles. Both flames go up pretty far, too. Torch works great for windy days. Is super easy to flick down and is the perfect size. We are throughly enjoying ours, and have actually received compliments on our duel twin (cause we bought 2) Sunsety lighters! Also each lighter came incased in a lovely little satin lined gift box—so, yes, would make the perfect gift for just about anyone…age within reason, of course.This is Southern Girl & Country Dude approved! ;)

Only had them a couple days but they're working so far.Had to turn the torch side down & then back up to find the right spot. Soft flame will get huge, not the torch tho.Only thing is they aren't black, more of a dark stonewash. It's not bad, I would've preferred what was pictured tho.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought the lighter this week and when it came I had to put Butane in it. After filling up the lighter the regular fire side of the lighter works but the Torch side does not. As much as you flick the lighter button to light it does not work. I disassembled the whole case of the lighter and found out that the torch works. Everything works if you just leave the case off but who wants to look at a lighter with no case? From what it looks like the whole case is the main issue. It's an oversight that they messed up. Some reviewers said it would work for a second or it won't last as long. I am 90% sure that it's the overall design flaw.

This thing is terrible!I've had mine for about 6 months now. I've never been able to get it to light consistently, nor can I get the flame to stay adjusted. The finish is not at all durable. This thing looks like it's been through Hell and back. It's only been in my pocket, just as every other lighter I've ever owned. This one has held up the worst.The torch side ignites maybe 1 out of 10 attempts, and it often goes out after only a second or so. It's definitely not windproof as torches should be.The soft flame is never the same size. It ignites with slightly more reliability than the torch, but it's still less than half of the time.It's pretty much impossible to determine how much fuel is in the lighter.Look for a better lighter. This one will let you down.

The finish is nice. I assume they don't test these after assemble to avoid possible shipment issues. After filling the soft flame was perfect but the torch wouldn't work after several attempts. The adjustment looked fine so I came to the comments and found a trend the next day after adjusting both it worked. Now longevity is the next test.Oh max can be a 2-3ft flame so adjust in a safe place.

Great lighter I think some people don’t know how to operate the lighter. But I’ve had a good experience.

I had purchased one of these from another vendor. It's been a month now and despite being dropped more than a dozen times, it still works. As mentioned, flame control valves are touchy. Make sure each one is flush with lighter casing. They should NOT be protruding out of lighter. After purging, fill with PREMIUM fluid like Colibre, Lotus, Neon, etc. This will increase the life of the lighter and not clog up the burners and electronic ignition (piezo) like Ronson will. Anything that states that it is premium or Ultra refined is going to be a good butane to use for longevity purposes. It will also help you to get a flame on the first spark of the ignition. Even the cheapest of lighters on the market can be stretched out beyond its life expectancy if you put a little care into them and using the right fluid is a good start. Took off a star because the vendor shipped the wrong color but I think that was because they were out of black and it didn't reflect that on the description of the item. The finish on the two-tone lighters is a matte gloss. It is not very durable. However the silver and I will assume the black have a better coating and more resistance to scratching.
