Solid, like you'd expect. I use my ipad as a monitor for my Sony cameras as a professional videographer, giving the ipad to the client. The Nitze tablet cage protects the tablet, allows accessories to be mounted and gives a good level of confidence because it's sturdy and easy to grip. The cage is easy to adjust. I have a NP-F battery plate mounted on the back with the 1/4-20 threaded holes and locating holes, so it's rock solid and lets me keep the tablet running during the video shoot. I can also attach handles to the nato rails on the side, but I usually don't since the cage makes the tablet easy to grip. I'm really satisfied, I like this much better than the plastic cover I used previously.

Superior execution in the rig, frame space. A tight, thoughtful build fir a rig, with lots of potential for adaptation as needs evolve, I've never used it for the iPad at all- it's the definition of a versatile Swiss Army Rig.

If you are like me and you are looking for an iPad cage with 1/4", 3/8" and cold shoe mounting points that also protect the edges of the tablet, you know there aren't that many options. If you own an Accsoon SeeMo, it's tempting to buy one of their cages for the integrated SeeMo mounting plate, however, I think the Nitze might accommodate more tablets. The Nitze cage also has more mounting points and at the time of writing this, it's more affordable, even if you threw in Accsoon's mounting adapter plate for your SeeMo. The only disadvantages I can see with the Nitze is that the kickstand is fairly short and might not be adequate when the cage is loaded with heavy accessories at the top, though I think that's a rare use case. Also, horizontal adjustment is locked, so while the two iPads I own fit, they can slide a bit unless the cage is clamped super tight. It's not deep enough to fit my iPads with their protectors, I imagine some slim cases might fit well enough, but they might also cause the charging port to shift to the point a cable can't be plugged in. On the plus side, all buttons are accessible, and this cage has NATO rails which the Accsoon cage doesn't have. All in all, it's a solid cage that adds a lot of mounting options for an iPad, and I've been happy with it.

Nitze jaula con 6 rieles OTAN/NATO 2 a la izquierda, 2 a la derecha, 1 abajo y 1 en la parte de atrás. cuenta con muchos puntos de anclaje para rosca de ¼ -20 con sistema de bloqueo de 2 puntos y tiene en la parte trasera un roscado de 3/8 - 16 , cuenta con 1 zapata arriba lado izquierdo, 1 zapata abajo lado izquierdo. las posibilidades que te da la marca por un bajo precio son impresionantes ya que no tienes que comprar a fuerza una iPad y puedes hacerlo con cualquier Tablet Android.

I’m a big fan of Nitze’s cinema gear. I swear by their side/top handles and have used them on a couple films now. I use an iPad as a remote/producer’s monitor sometimes (connected to the FX30 via the Monitor+ app): the tablet has a great big image, and the app gives me camera control without needing a terradek or hollyland setup (latency IS sometimes a thing, but rarely a deal-breaker). This cage from Nitze solved a few issues, making it easy to mount it on a tripod (via Kondor Blue QR plate). The 1/4 20 mounts all over allow me to attach a v-mount plate to power the iPad all day, and I got the Nitze side handles for grip. This is a great and easy solution for solo filmmakers / content creators as well. Nitze’s gear is solidly built and rugged enough to hold up to my most aggressive filming days.

Al final si me la quedé, no le queda justo a la s9+ pero al menos si la sostiene bien, de doy 4 estrellas porque no ajustó a la perfección

La cage m'a permis de me créer un moniteur de directeur de réalisation avec mon iPad Pro 10''. Le fait d'avoir une grande image en plateau permet de voir des détails qui seraient passés inaperçus sur un field monitor de 6''.

Parece una buena solución robusta pero al montar mi iPad Pro 11 2018 este movía por ser demasiado delgado. Quizás esta jaula es demasiado universal y no se adapta a todos los modelos igual

I found it to be a very well made product. The depth of the cage was a bit too big for my iPad but having said that, the cage held the iPad very firm and would only move within the cage if a downward shock took place, which hopefully won't happen normally. The cage gives me the ability to fit a transmitter to the back of the iPad for music video production which is very useful. It has the potential to fit many accessories to the iPad which is always a good thing. Overall I'm very pleased with it.
