Duracell Powermat Wireless Battery Case for iPhone 4/4S - - Black

Case is nice,, using on an old phone my grandaughter plays with. Seems tough enough she has not broken phone.

I am totally blown away at how great this battery extender really works. Our daughter has a used iPhone 4S. Battery life ... not so good. I had bought her a used case like this, to see if it really worked. Problem with that case is the bottom a piece of it always came off and eventually was lost. This new case is one piece that flips over and cannot get lost.We have not tried the wireless charging yet ... so cannot speak for that. But phone charges very quickly when plugged in.Color ... this shows a hot pink case ... it is more of a raspberry reddish color. Package arrived quickly and in good shape.

On my 3rd case in a year because the microUSB connector on the case keeps failing to make contact after about 6 months of daily calendar syncs (5-10x per week, typical sync usage). I'm hoping they used a connector with a higher insertion rating, but we'll see in 6 months. [Because of this flaw, I am reduced to doing wireless sync with iTunes which doesn't function at work because I'm logged into the enterprise WiFi and the iPhone can't.]In the mean time, this case doesn't seem to fit quite right in the single station charger with the vertical guides on the four corners from pre-Duracell PowerMat. It fits in close enough to charge, but just that little bit off. Sticks up 1/8 inch (3 mm) at one end or the other. As a consequence it takes more power to charge. I measured 2.5W on this case and only 2.1W on the old, pre-Duracell PowerMat case.*** UPDATE 5 Months later ***So I didn't even get six months out of this one. Only 5. Both the microUSB *and* the inductive charge pickup failing. The first one I owned was before Duracell bought them. Very disappointed in PowerMat since Duracell bought them because of change in dimensions, loss of efficiency / longer charge time, and unreliability of the microUSB connector and inductive pickup coils. 5-6 month life -- get real!

Quality is good. I need a case that my Mom can grip better with arthritis but could not find one. Overall the wireless charging is great for her. I imagine the younger folks won't worry about the smooth texture. I would still recommend this with the wireless charging for someone difficulty gripping the smooth case. I am planning to add some textured tape to the case and hope this will help.

I tried a dozen times to get this to work. It would get the magentic attraction but never charged. I could connec it to the universal charger and it would charge but then I though why have 2 things when I should only need one, So back goes the battery case.This is followup to my review. After returning the charger, I decided to order another one that came with a new Powermat. This time it worked perfectly. The new one does not work on the old matt that I have had fr about 4 years, but it works with ease on the new mat the new one says "Made for Iphone" on the box.

I bought the Duracell Powermat for a present for my husband. He absolutely loves it and so do I. With the extra case for my iPhone we both just put it on the mat to charge. It is so much easier than plugging in the cord. It's a well made plastic case, easy to hold and attractive. It is a little longer than the phone but I like that.The case has a flip top so it is easy to insert the phone into the case and remove it. It also includes a micro USB access to sync with your computer. I added half skin to the back and it still charges. So it's perfect. Amozone price of $4.78 for the Duracell Powermat wireless battery case is better than any other.

This is a very nice case for the iPhone 4/4S. I already have a powermat, I just needed the case to go with it. I ordered one of these before months ago and it lasted a long time before the top piece cracked from where I dropped it. That's not why it gets 4 stars though. It's a case, it's meant to protect your phone if you drop it, and it did it's job. The case took the damage and it broke instead of my phone. This case can take multiple drops too. I've dropped my phone on concrrete more than once and it's been completely fine. It was the case that took the damage like it was meant for.The only reason I am giving it a 4 star rating is because the clip on part on top doesn't fit entirely snugly when you snap it in place. Like, it wobbles a bit. I just took some double stick tape and stuck it to the top part of the case on the inside and left the seal on the other side alone so it would act as a padding and wouldn't wobble anymore. That was just my quick fix for it though, maybe it will be a good idea for others who are having the same problem with that wobble and want the case to fit more snug on their phone. The wobble is very very slight, but it just bothered me for some reason lol.But other than that, this is an awesome case. Fits good in your hand, has a sleek finish, pretty durable.

I had the old version of this but the top broke off. This one looks nicer with a 'shinier' black plastic. Also the 'hinge' part that broke on my last one has improved in quality, I don't think it will break as easily.

Totally enthused and great service. What else is there to say...

FYI does not work with Qi charging mats. (didn't claim to)
