does just what it should, brilliant. Cant think of anything more to say about it.

I find these useful for making overhead sockets accessible for people at workbenches. You can buy them made up (with a socket and plug at each end) but I prefer to make my own.

Whilst not the most exciting review, I thought the video would give you a better means of understanding the positives, and limits of this cable. It is clearly made of sturdy material and I am sure will last well. The coils are set well and it takes some pull to extend, snapping back to its closed state. I anticipate the elasticity will give with time and use. The product description states the length as 2.36m. Whilst this may be a reference to the original cable, the coiled length is closer to 70cm and under some tension would reach 1.5m. I suspect any further and it would a) catapult you or your applance across the room and b) be unlikely to return to its coiled state. Nevertheless, I will give it 4 stars for build quality, but don't expect a long cable.

Was fine for the intended job

Got this for a project and it was good quality, just the job.

This spiral cable is industrial strength and very difficult to stretch. It would be more use on a building site or some such, but not as a flexible cable for a hand-held search light. I thought it would be as flexible as the telephone handset cables of the 1970s and 1980s.
