The Autel Original OBD2 12+8 Adapter is a must if you want to modify or make changes to any modules in a Mopar 2017+. I purchased the adapter to work alongside AlfaOBD, and it has been a good experience. Unfortunately, finding the security module is a pain and in my case, it was behind the touchscreen radio (19 Jeep Cherokee). Just keep in mind that if you make any changes to the BCM, you have to do a Proxy alignment otherwise you get a bunch of error codes on the dash and in my case, the transmission shifts hard and is unstable. Make sure you do a backup of the BCM before making any changes. Highly recommend this product.

Fits and works good. Alows you to bypass the security gateway module without autoauth subscription. But be sure to have a scanner with current updates or it will not work. Thick and good quality plugs and wiring.

This product worked as expected. I used it on a 2025 Jeep Gladiator to reprogram for the addition of the 120V bed outlet. It interfaced well with both the vehicle and the OBD2 product I used, and i was able to activate the new outlet/switch.

Worked great for 2023 Power Wagon. SGM is behind the digital instrument cluster which is a pain. After using it once I ended up ordering an SGM bypass cable which plugs into the CAN connector just under the drivers side dash. So much easier than tearing the whole dash apart every time you need to connect your programmer. Will keep this in case there are functions that need me to be plugged in directly to the SGM but for basic functions like programming tire size, changing light settings, or clearing codes, using the factory OBD port with a bypass cable is so much easier.

Bought to reprogram a Jeep Wrangler JL speedometer using the JScan app. As it was a pain to unplug the wires from the SGW module due to its location, I also bought extensions to plug in the module and move the connection in a more accessible area under the dash. Combined with a fairly cheap Bluetooth OBDII reader, it gave me access to additional reprogramming features through the JScan app.
