My grandson tore the flex-cable for the left controller. I couldn't bridge the connections, even with 28ga. wire, so I found these. These are a perfect fit and had no trouble installing them. The controller works again and my grandson is off my back!

To be specific about the problem I was having, while my joycons were connected to the console, the right JC would randomly disconnect. It would NOT show the little slider animation on the edge of the LCD like it does when sliding up and removing the joycon completely, it would just disconnect and randomly reconnect and request the button presses to pair them and it would work for an undetermined amount of time before it happened again and again. Replacing the rails was only slightly a pain because the tools they come with are trash. Don't attempt to use these screwdrivers if you aren't familiar with how easily you can strip out these tiny fragile screw heads, because you will, and it will become a pain to remove them. The yellow handle screwdriver head was too small for the screws they attempted to mold it for. I was able to complete the repair, but I highly suggest you buy a better tool kit made for these switch repairs. Other than the tool, the rails themselves fixed the problem. No more disconnecting. Super cheap and joycons feel locked in nice and solid again when connected. Happy.

Worked great for what I needed. My nephew's right joycon would randomly show it detached from the console and after doing some digging it seemed the rail needed replaced. I ordered these to fix the issue and after watching a simple video of the repair I followed along and used this to replace the damaged right rail. Once I finished the replacement I turned it in and his switch is functioning perfectly again. It's been a while since I did the replacement and it hasn't disconnected once. It feels just like from the factory as well so there's no discernible difference in the rails. Very eased with the purchase and glad it fixed the issue. Was a nice inexpensive fix
