Stanley 1-32-125 Panoramic Tape Measure, Yellow/Black

I love the window that allows you to do inside measures as well as outside measures. I think it is shipped from England, and I'm glad that I could find it here.

I liked that I did not need to squint at the tape to read the exact measurement in CM/MM

Looks great. Was not clear from description that increments are cm. Can't find imperial equivalent. :(

Though not for heavy duty use, it is very portable. I carry it around most days!

Wait.. hold up.. this bitch is centimeters. That's unfortunate, such a clever design. I want so much to add this to my toolkit, but I can't justify it, cuz I'm in 'merica and no one uses a tape measure to measure stuff in metric over here. Come on, Stanley, is it that hard to add inches as well?

First of all, I apparently did not get a new one. No packaging whatsoever.Beware if this is a big deal for you....it is only metric. No inches. Would have been simple enough to use color coding or something to do both.The tape, once extended, will not retract on it's own. Not a huge deal for me as this is used for relatively small measurements but it should retract like every other tape measure I have purchased over 50+ years. Possibly a product defect and why I got what may have been a return.I won't be returning it because for all I will use it, it isn't worth the trouble.

Not in original packaging. SKU sticker & glue very difficult to remove.Doesn't retract into case without feeding it by hand. Units are cm.Great idea, poorly executed.Possibly a previously returned item?

I liked this product. Tape is very precise and ergonomic. However, I received it without original packaging (just tape inside the mail envelope). That is why I rated 4 star
