The best razor I have ever used
These razors are fantastic. In fact, they are all I will use. No irritation, no nicks, always smooth. My only complaint: they only last about 6-8 shaves then they start to pull. I'm sure that's by design so you buy more. Whatever, they're worth it.

Gillette…the best a WOMAN can have.
I am a woman with PCOS which sadly means I am blessed with a little extra facial hair. I have tried multiple methods of shaving this hair (which is primarily above my upper lip and on my chin, both awkward to shave spots. I have tried dermaplaning. I’ve tried shaving with a regular razor primarily marketed towards women. Doing both of those things, I managed to cut myself. And with both of those things, I could still feel the remains of little stubble-y hairs, even on day one. I’m a bit of a wimp so waxing, which I tried once before, wasn’t going to happen. I searched on tiktok to see what other PCOS girls were using for facial hair. I found a video where this razor was recommended. Part of my was like ‘well I’ve already used a razor, AND a razor marketed as being for sensitive skin…and it was nothing special. So surely this will be just another waste of money I’ll end up using to shave my legs.’ The other part of me was desperately hoping that maybe this would be the fix to all of my problems. WELL LET ME TELL YOU, IT WAS. I used this razor for the first time and, immediately on first stroke, was absolutely impressed. It didn’t feel like it was dragging on my skin, or catching on and pulling the hairs. It felt so nice and gentle I was worried that it actually wasn’t getting the job done. When I was finished, I rinsed my face and that is when I was INSTANTLY sold on this razor FOREVER. My chin was COMPLETELY SMOOTH. My chin hasn’t been completely smooth since I was a teenager. I am amazed. AND!! ZERO CUTS! Now, like any razor, you will probably feel a little something on day two or three once the hairs start growing back. But this razor making shaving my face not as unpleasant and I find it easy enough to do every other day. Basically, if you are a girl, struggling with PCOS, and looking for a solution to those pesky facial hairs, don’t be embarrassed or self conscious of purchasing this because it’s a ‘men’s’ razor. It is truly worth it and so superior to any other razor I’ve tried on my face that I’m just sad I didn’t try to look for something better sooner. Would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone, no matter your gender. Almost everyone shaves in some capacity, and everyone deserves a comfortable shave.

Great for Sensitive Skin. No, Really!
I have very sensitive skin, but there are so many razors marketed that way! And aren't! Bottom line? I was using too many blades! I read up about it in a good article, and 5 blades, etc. are just too much for irritation-prone skin. G SkinGuard has three blades, has a good, quality heft, and does the job nicely. One wish: the handle loses its slip resistance if it gets soapy. Recommend this product.

Good quality
First couple blades were great. I don’t have a very thick shave. These give you a great value but don’t get as close a shave as I would like. Leaves skin smooth with no burn.

Best razor out there!!
My husband has tried so many razors to no avail....but he says this time this is the one and only. The only one that does not cut the face and leave blood marks on clothes. The only one that does not cause razor burn. Believe me he has tried so many searched and searched just for the right one. He recommends this so if you don't want the above like razor burn, blood spots on clothes, o and scars then get this one!!

Taught my son to shave — no blood, no trauma, no therapy needed.
Got this razor for my son’s first shave. Big moment. Emotional. I almost handed him a rusty machete just to toughen him up, but decided to be a decent dad instead. Enter: Gillette SkinGuard. Smooth, gentle, and forgiving — exactly what a young face needs when it’s being scraped for the first time. The handle feels solid, the blades are sharp but not scary sharp, and best of all — no blood sacrifices to the shaving gods. It gave us the perfect moment: a quick how-to, a couple dad jokes, and a clean-shaven kid who didn’t end up looking like he lost a fight with a weed whacker. If you’re helping someone learn to shave — or just tired of your own face fighting back — this razor’s a solid choice. Gillette really did us a solid here. Cheers to smooth starts and smooth skin.

Best shave ever
I'm skeptical about product "innovations." I tend to find something that works and stick with it, for years-decades. I'd tried 4-5 blade razors before and found them too fat and awkward to use. But this is an exception (even though it really only has the two blades separated by a cushion). When it was clear my traditional two-blade model was being manufactured more and more cheaply, causing cuts and nicks more often than not, especially on my aging skin, I was willing to give this a try. Amazing. I shave in the shower with no mirror, all by feel. After a few tentative tries with it, I'm now sold on this special Gillette model. It feels as close as my old one ever was, yet I have no worries of bloody cuts, nicks, or burns. Cautiously also tried the little single blade at the top of the reversed side of the head. Worked great under nose and at sideburns when done gingerly. I can shave against the grain of the beard without concern. I hope they don't get me addicted to this then have some marketing genius who decides to discontinue it or cheapen its production in the future to increase profit margins. And, yes, this is more expensive, but seems worth it.

Gentle and close shave
My story is like hundreds of other reviews: I’ve tried everything - soaps, moisturizers, gels, creams, blades, trimmers, etc. - but my throat and throat back of my neck always break out after face and head shaving. I’m 46 years old and this has been an issue since I was old enough to shave. The only effective solution I have found for my throat is to trim it down to the lowest stubble possible (0.4mm on my Philips Norelco Prestige Beard Trimmer), but that still leaves me wishing for a closer shave (I typically sport a beard or goatee). For the last 10+ years I have been using the Schick Hydro Sensitive on my head and a variety of other solutions on my throat (Norelco rotary shaver, Philips OneBlade), but continue to suffer from bumps and acne. If I let the hair grow out, the bumps go away, but if I grow too long, I get itchy and break out again. So, this Skin Guard blade was basically my last attempt before giving up and just keeping very short stubble on my face (and likely switching to a head shaver that won’t cut close enough but will do the trick). I used it on my head in the same way I normally do - with Edge Sensitive shave gel - first with the grain, then against. Surprisingly, it shaved just as close as the Shock, and I definitely felt like it was a lot easier on my skin. No cuts and no blood. Unfortunately, I can’t tell if the bumps I already had there were just made worse by shaving in general or if they were just still irritated from my last shave four days ago. I also shaved my throat (mostly with the grain) and cheeks (with and against) and used the blade edge trimmer (which was very effective and sharp). In the end, I agree that this is a gentler and close shave. But, whether or not it will completely eliminate razor bumps and acne for me remains to be determined.
