I heard of Govee a long time ago when they were just getting started. They made a tv backlight that had a camera on it that would make the led light strip installed on the back of the tv mirror the colors shown on the tv itself ( like the Phillips tvs back in the day that did this but never really took off). I have that on my tvs at home and they are fantastic. Especially for movies and games But Govee is now bigger than ever and becoming a juggernaut in the lighting industry. So this wall light set was something I had my eye on and I snagged it on sale. it's turned out to be one of my favorite purchases from the Govee brand. The lights install very easy and they give you all the hardware to install a variety of ways. If you want to hard mount these into your wall permanently with screws and anchors, they include that in this kit. They also include a removable 3M double sided tape solution that's also great if you choose that route. The app for these lights is again, incredible. It has scenes a plenty, a color wheel for every color imaginable, and plenty of other "scenes" from seasonal to parties to mood and so on. They blink, fade, dance, pulse, heartbeat, and so much more. I can't possibly all the modes these lights offer in the app but I doubt I'll ever use them all.. not for the lack of trying. They will sync to sound as well, any sound, or just music. But one feature I love the most is they work WITH the tv backlight I have from Govee as well. The app sees both the tv led backlight and these. If you tell it to in the app, the lights will sync to your Govee Tv LED backlight and mirror the colors from your tv. So in my living room I have these installed behind the couch, and the tv led is of course behind the TV. So you can imagine the only lights in the room are from the TV in front of you, and these behind you.. your video game or movie just hit a WHOLE other level of immersion as it makes you feel as if your almost in the movie itself. A really, really great feature and I've had a lot of jaws hit the floor from friends who are over and see it all in action. I can't recommend these enough, along with other Govee products. Govee took on that other multicolored light brand (Goliath) who charges WAY too much for the same product. And in my experience (I've used that brand too) Govee just mopa the floor with them. The app is amazing. The fact that the different light packages they offer can work together in harmony for an incredible experience is really what wins the day here. That, and the fact they do it for far less cost.. and you feel like you just get far more bang for your buck here. But these lights are amazing and I'm going to order 2 more sets for other rooms tvs as well. Check out the tv backlight they sell as well if you get these (and you should.. these lights are fantastic) but they hit an even higher level when paired with the tv led backlight. And other lights govee makes work with them as well so you can deck your house or room out with a setup that's all syncd up and it's totally awesome. Once you get a Govee light you'll never want anything else. They are just amazing and at a price point that's impossible to beat for the quality and performance.

Lights look beautiful. Used at a trade show where Govee themselves had a booth, and the booth team was only too happy to help me put them together when I was too exhausted to even try. 10/10 would hug them again just for the help. Excellent company!

The lights are very bright! I really like how they light up my photo wall as the pictures before wouldn't stand out. The app works the same as every other Govee product, which means it is good. You can create your own scenes and colors or choose from the preset ones. Someone said in another review that they are only RGB, but he is mistaken, they definitely have white LEDs and are very bright (he mentioned that the changed the controller so maybe he hasn't figured out how to turn on the White LED). Installation was tricky but not hard once you figure out how they work. It is done this way so you are able to hide the cable as much as you can (since in coils on the inside of each lamp) so on the good side you can adjust it so cables are not hanging there unnecessarily. Also, some people have not figured out that the cable is by default a bit coiled, so it extends significantly. In my pictures you can see that it almost fills the entire wall and I still coiled the cable a bit in each lamp. A great product, I loved the lights!

Por lo general el precio es de $3700 pesos mexicanos, yo tuve la oportunidad de comprarlo en $2500. Se ve muy bonito puesto, pero el precio regular es excesivo. Si logras conseguirlo por 2600 o menos está genial. Es fácil de instalar. Eso si la superficie de preferencia debe ser lisa, si es rugosa probablemente no se adiera. En mi caso usamos el porcelanato y sin problema. Muy fácil de instalar y se ve muy elegante ya finalizada la instalación. Viene con taquetes por si decides perforar en lugar del adhesivo.

I didn't mount these on the wall but used them on top of a cabinet. Easy peasy installation. Love the different options for colours. Very pleased with them.

If you want custom lengths, and the option to flip them up or down.. honestly it’s worth the work it takes to install these. yes, I did have to use pliers to tighten the cords once the previous sconce was in place. yes, I did have to remove the very very sticky adhesive and adjust the placement on these a few times, and yes, math to properly align these was annoying.. but honestly? They look great, they work well with the govee app, and the only improvement I could actually come up with is that they should also come in black.
