Buy How Full Is Your Bucket? For Kids Illustrated by Rath, Tom, Reckmeyer, Mary, Manning, Maurie J. (ISBN: 9781595620279) from desertcart's Book Store. Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: Very effective! - Loved this book, as did 5 and 6 year olds. Very simple concept and they refer to it daily. It helped make them more conscious of the impact of their behaviour on others. Review: Lovely, clear message about kindness - I bought this book for my Year 2 class at school after some of the girls were falling out with each other too easily. We have read this a few times and also created a "class bucket" - the children really engaged well with the story and two weeks have now passed without any falling out at all! Long may it continue! The children are also in the habit of talking about "their buckets" and have learnt that they can increase someone's else happiness.

Really cool
My kids and I really enjoy this book. It help explains a difficult concept to children. And, it helps me to get my little children to do things that they don't always want to do (e.g. help their little brother, skype with their grandparents, tidy their toys, etc.).

Fantastic Story
One of my favourite books that really make children think about empathy and sympathy. I read this to my grade 1 class and the students really enjoyed it. The idea of a bucket of feelings really resonated with them.

Thoroughly recommended!
My 4 & 6 year old love this book and we often refer to the term 'fill your bucket' as a quick reference of being considerate and thoughtful to others. It's illustrations are charming and the story is basic enough for all ages to understand - including adults!!

Everyone can fill a bucket
Lovely book with a really good moral story. My granddaughter took this story and made it her own. We had a fabulous weekend filling everyone's bucket and she even reminded Nanny to "mind your bucket" when lunchtime wasn't going to plan! We can all learn from the sentiment of this book.

A wonderful book that every child should read. It uses a simple metaphor-an invisible bucket that gets filled or emptied by our actions and words-to help kids understand their emotions like annger, frustration etc and the impact they have on themselves and on others. What I love most is how the book encourages kindness and empathy. It shows that by helping others and being positive, we not only fill their buckets but also our own, making everyone feel happier. The illustrations are engaging, and the message is easy for kids to grasp and remember. This book is a fantastic tool for parents and teachers to start conversations about emotional well-being, kindness, and the importance of supporting one another. Highly recommended for all families!

I got this for my school's first grade class and it's always such a hit. It lends itself to great activities you can do with students on how to think about self-care.

Terrible quality - product came bent and torn even though it is meant to be new. Tried to return but it still hasn’t been collected!

this is such a great book. teaching kids that everything they do or say to people has consequence. whether it be good or bad - everything we do affects someone else. everyone has an invisible bucket. we can either dip into it by being unkind or we can fill it up by spreading kindness and light
