I go through vacuum cleaners like others go through paper plates at a picnic. Ok, I exaggerated..but over the last 18 years I've shared my gaff with two Norwegian Forest Cats...both ginger boys and they were how you would describe as "fluffy". During their reign I tried a wide variety of vacuum cleaners and only Vax were capable of the job. Now I have a young half Norwegian Forest Cat, he's also Royal Red and my previous Vax is still usable but starting to complain after 3 years hard work! This one is from the same stable but a different model, the lead is considerably shorter than the previous one which is a blessing! Ok, I have to plug it in to different sockets but I'm not getting wrapped up in excess wire! Delivery was excellent, putting it together was extremely easy and the box is now a cat fort. As with all my previous Vax uprights the suction is phenomenal! Pulls up fur with no issues other than 'Blimey!', it's very easy to clean, and I'm always shocked at the amount of dust (dander) it picks up. This model is very lightweight so it's easy to manoeuvre around, it came with one attachment, a little crevice/brush device. All in all an excellent vacuum cleaner at an exceptional price! 100% recommended!

A great hoover, extremely lightweight and easy to use. Very powerful on both carpets and rugs so making it very versatile. The clear storage of helps you see when you need to empty the dust cylinder. The electric cable is a good length so you don’t need to keep unplugging it.

Well known brand Extremely great suction I have five cats and a dog and this is on par with shark one that broke so I was looking to replace it I find this really good at cleaning carpets and floors The suction is great It is quite difficult to manoeuvre in my experience And is a bit heavy The hose suction section is very good too however it could be more easily accessible Overall a fabulous hoover for a affordable price Really good power

This machine arrives neatly package with minimum assembly required. Just click the handle/wand into place and clip on the crevice tool, no screwdrivers required. Turn it on and wow, the performance is incredible! Really great suction, to the point where they had to include a vent in the cleaner head otherwise it would glue itself to the carpet and stall the brushbar. Speaking of brushbar, I think it's the real star of the show, it's made with very stiff nylon bristles that provide insane carpet agitation. The dirt start vibrating from far away and the carpet fibers are lifted and separated, giving all that suction the ability to remove every single embedded particle. It has a button to turn off the brushbar for hardwood floors and the suction hose can be attached to the wand for above floor cleaning. It works fine but it's nothing to rave about. Another thing that's well engineered is the bin: it features a good cyclonic system, reminding me of early dysons, and the emptying is easy and quick. The only downsides of the machine are the plastics, that aren't the sturdiests, and the motor that tends to run a little hot so I wouldn't vacuum for long sessions at a time in order to preserve its lifespan. Considering the pricepoint and amazing performance the compromises are absolutely worth it in ny opinion

I have had this make before 13 yrs in fact until it went wrong. This a really nice hoover nice colour and for the money really good value and easy to use. Can't recommend it more.

I have been using this hoover for about a month, Things I liked are the ease of cleaning, I find the power of the machine is adequate on hard floors, storage capacity is great for a 1 bedroom, living area, kitchen flat. Things which could improve/dislike The suction power of the machine is good for carpet but not great as you would expect. The length of the lead could be longer as it’s okay but not great. The handling of the product in carpet is a but tricky and hard to turn and get into challenging places which hinders the functionality of the hoover, not that easy to use. The detachable horse is really short and would not expand to your needs, so cleaning dust off the windows or in a small places above the ground level where you want to dust off, like sofas. It’s really short so you have to literally lift up the hoover to reach those heights places even when its around 5 feet from ground level. Overall it’s a good product but with some downsides which we can understand at this price point they have to cut some corners. But, is it value for the money, I think you can go for it without any worries as it’s a decent product at this price range! Hope this helps :)

Brilliant cleaner for the price, bought for my daughter who has mild cerebral palsy, she finds it very easy to use and its lightweight and easy for her to pick up and carry. Highly recommend

For the price this is an excellent vacuum cleaner. The suction is very powerful and the brush bar works well, bits near the edge of the carpet that I'd normally get the crevice tool out for jump up in the air and the suction drags them in. Emptying it I find a lot of fine dust has been collected, not just fluff. I like the way you can take the drum apart and give it a good clean out. The materials don't look too robust (though no problems yet) so I think it's important to read the hand book first so you don't start forcing things the wrong way. Two minor things. Using the tools on the hose is a bit of a faff compared with our previous Dyson, but then this was so much cheaper I can forgive that. Also you need to watch that you remove any hairs from the brush roller regularly as removing the roller from the machine means removing three cross head screws, so that could be a pain if neglected to the point that a lot of hair had got tangled round it. All in all though, I think this vacuum cleaner is a bargain and it works very well, our carpets look like new again! If I was buying another I'd not hesitate to get a Vax again, though maybe one of the pet versions and both my wife and I have long hair!
