Light weight, perfect for coolers
I am impressed with this ice pack. Each pack comes flat and needs to be dipped in water to activate. Use small amount of water as you dont want to inflate it too much. Try 1 or 2 out before inflating more packs. All in all good buy and I will recomend it.

These things are pretty chill
I had no idea what to expect with these, they just looked interesting. I do find the multi-pack handy to keep around. What I like most is a 100 pack is not much more expensive than one or two hard-cased ice packs... maybe even cheaper than some packs. If somebody comes to visit and needs a few packs for a trip (event, holiday, etc) just whip a few out of your freezer to donate to the cause, grab a couple paper-thin flat packs out of the cupboard, soak them in water, and toss 'em in the freezer. The instructions say to soak them for a few minutes, but honestly a few seconds seems enough for them to swell up to size. However, I do not know if a few seconds vs minutes will affect the ability to store and transfer cold to the nearby contents. I still need to run some comparison tests there. They stay cold for hours and generally last the whole work-day. They also seem durable and after a few uses am no longer concerned about them splooging all over the place under normal use.

Works as it should!
I got these for my mom who always brings food back and forth from her home to our home. They work great and are able to help transport perishable goods back and forth with ease. They are easy to store.I've even shipped some frozen brisket over 2 days in the winter to family members! It worked well, too.

Generally good ice packs -- reusability vaguely questionable
These ice packs easily best my default cooler solution -- that of just using frozen Ziploc sandwich bags of water -- but at first glance, I'm not entirely convinced that they would last more than maybe a few uses. The individual packs are made of a composite of plastic on one side (the front side, pictured in all of the promotional images) and a paper-like material on the other side. It's this paper-like backing that allows the pack to absorb water, which works very well. It's also that backing that I question in terms of durability; it seems likely that it won't hold up against much wear-and-tear.Otherwise, these are a simple and effective solution to keeping your sodas and such nice and cool, and frankly, the large number of packs at a fairly decent price (which was the 50 pack for US$16.99 when I ordered it) can make these a worthy purchase, even if you consider them to be disposables.

Don't let them suck up too much water or
They will freeze more rounded with a peak, like a mountain rising from a plain. The first one I tried to use, I let soak up water for like 3 minutes. It froze into an the awkward thing I described. BUT, it still worked and kept my groceries cold just as well as the cold packs I'm used to using. I plan to see how many trips this one will make before it tears or melts down. I'll save most of them for use in an emergency situation--hurricane season is right around the corner. I'll have some stowed in the freezer in case of power outages.

College for tour cooler!
These are so easy to use and I love that they can be re-used/continually used, as long as you keep them cold.We go camping for about 30 days of the year. That makes for a lot of money spent on ice, especially during summer camping trips. I used these on a shorter trip and they were great! Just fill up and it keeps things cold enough that I'm not running to the store for ice every other day or so.If treated well these can be kept in your freezer at home foe the next trip. Of you don't have the space though they are certainly inexpensive enough to buy some before a trip. They are small and take up very little room before use, so buying in bulk also saves money.I'll be using these forever! Not having to drive I to a town every few days for ice when we are camping for two weeks not only saves me I've money but also saves me gas money. So they basically pay for themselves!Worth every penny.

Space Saving Ice Packs!
They start of as paper thin pockets with a teaspoon of teeny tiny beads inside. You sit it in water and it expands like a diaper. Freeze it. It's a hard block. I left some in a cooler too long and had some mold on the breathable side. So I tried to mix a wee bit of white vinegar in the water to prevent this, but it would not soak up/expand. I now put a vinegar/water soaked cloth in the cooler to help prevent this. These are great for traveling. I need to test it to see if it dries out and rehydrates.

Great ice packs
These are fantastic. The store in the area roughly required by by a deck of playing cards, until ready for use. Then a few minutes in a bowl of water, and into the freezer to get them ready for use. They are the best ice packs I’ve ever used.
