The concept of the product is good and would be ideal for a shower with no tub. Upon installation, it became clear that it would not fold as expected. It could not serve the intended purpose.Therefore, it had to be returned for a refund.

This is a nice shower bench. It is large enough to sit on or to put your feet up on it to wash them. Folds nicely up against the wall. Metal appears to be of good quality and looks like it will not rust. The top looks like redwood, however I think it is a manufactured material that appears to be able to take water from the shower and not degrade. I did not us the included hardware used to attach this to the wall for fear that the bench may pull away from the wall when there is weight on it. I used toggle style bolts/fasteners that allowed the bench to be fastened to the wall from both sides of the tile and wallboard so the bench can't pull out of the wall. I feel this was a good bench and priced better than most of the others I saw listed.

No installation instructions. You have to guess at what size drill bit to use with the included anchors ( I think 1/4"). It also doesn't tell you to move the sliding wall mounts to their farthest distance apart, to keep it from moving. Really poor finish to what seems to be an otherwise nice product. Added this after installation. Whoever designed this thing gave no thought to the difficulty of installing it in a small shower stall. It's nearly impossible, with the screw holes under the seat It took hours.

Very difficult to install even knowing the product well. Wall brackets must be held perpendicular to seat when marking the wall drill spots. Holding both brackets and seat legs down at same time, difficult. see pictures. I held all in place with tape so my wife and myself could mark the three holes. There are no directions for installing only picture of chair.

Product does not come with installation instructions. Box contained only one sheet of line drawings showing perspective and metric dimensions. Will return. Not about to drill holes in my shower wall without a method of determining if they are correctly located.
