Great yeast to try
Really nice yeast. Was shipped promptly and though at ambient temperatures during shipping the packet was viable and produced an excellent Pale Ale. Fermentation was a bit slow to start (active fermentation between 24-36 hrs post pitch) but that seems to be common with this strain.

Absolutely love this yeast for ipas. I use to use san diego super yeast or wyeast 1318 but I find this gives me just as good beer without the high price of liquid yeast. Will definitely be purchasing this again.

I’ve used LalBrew Verdant IPA yeast in a couple of homebrew batches now, and it’s quickly become one of my go-to strains for hazy and hop-forward styles. The 2-pack from CAPYBARA Distributors arrived quickly and in perfect condition, with both sachets fresh and properly sealed. ✅ Pros: Delivers bold, juicy flavor – This yeast really brings out those tropical, citrusy hop notes. My NEIPA had great mouthfeel and a soft, hazy body — just what I was aiming for. Reliable fermentation – Started fermenting within 24 hours and maintained steady activity throughout. No stalling or lag. Clean, slightly fruity profile – It adds some subtle esters, but nothing overpowering — perfect balance for IPAs where you want the hops to shine. Good attenuation – Hit my target FG on both batches, and the yeast flocculated nicely without needing a cold crash. Dry yeast convenience – Easy to store, easy to pitch. No starter required, which is ideal for small batch brewing. ⚠️ Minor Notes: Not for every style – This yeast is tailored for hop-forward ales. If you’re brewing lagers or malt-driven beers, you’ll want something else. Sachet size is for 5-gallon batches – Pretty standard, but just be aware if you're doing a smaller or larger batch. Bottom Line: Verdant IPA yeast delivers exactly what it promises — vibrant, aromatic IPAs with a pillowy mouthfeel and reliable fermentation performance. If you're brewing juicy, hazy, or West Coast-style IPAs at home, this is a fantastic choice. Will definitely buy again.

Package arrived quickly and I was able to brew my beer as planned. This yeast is great to keep in the fridge and very convenient. I often use liquid yeast (Wyeast London III or Escarpment foggy London) and this is basically a dry version of that strain but more convenient and cheaper. Worked perfectly.
