Just got pillows, so will have to update on comfort. For years used Beauty Rest. They actually had a liner, which this really is, and a very nice cotton zippered pillowcase. This material is extremely thin and elastic. It would never withstand a washing and would not protect the pillow at all. I will use the old, still good, cases from my Beauty Rest pillows, which are finally beginning to disintegrate after eight years. As others have stated, theirs was the perfect latex pillow. So many people are missing them, why did they stop making them? Anyway, I hope these Artka pillows are comfortable and can go eight years! Will update after a reasonable time of testing. Update: Wonderful pillow, very much like my old Beauty Rest. The old Beauty Rest cases fit them perfectly and now I will just have to see how long they last. Changed rating from 3 stars to 5 stars based on current comfort and quality.

This is a soft pillow compared to some others which is perfect for me since I’m a side sleeper. It’s very good for neck position and reduces neck strain from other-over-firm pillows. It is cool and does not lose its shape. My family have requested another one.

I have been searching for a replacement pillow since mine literally started to disintegrate about twenty years ago. I found a Serta that I liked, but when it went bad, I found they didn’t make that type anymore. I have tried every pillow I could find. Memory foam, bamboo, fiberfill, shredded foam. I have probably spent close to $1000 over the years. None of them bounced back like the pillow I had growing up. None of them supported my neck correctly. They were either too soft or too firm. My neck hurt EVERY morning. I knew my pillow was a foam one, but never thought to try latex foam. I am so happy I did! This pillow is perfect. It holds its shape, but is not too firm. It bounces right back. It is light weight. My head sinks down ‘just enough’, then stops. I can sleep on my side or my back and it is perfect. Do not hesitate to buy this pillow. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

Really comfy pillow. Perfect for side or back sleeping, but good for stomach time too. I usually sleep with an arm under the pillow when I'm on my stomach anyhow, so I bring extra firmness into it naturally.There's some reviewers saying that's its not sturdy enough, but I have to wonder how heavy their heads are. I'm an average sized human with, I think, a normal size noggin and it's perfect! A few reviewers mention that if you hold it upright it flops over, but....yeah, it's not made of air and it's a pillow, not an anti-gravity device.For $50ish bucks it's working out great.
