Very good quality as are all of my other Eufy products, the solar panel charges better than the previous model of this camera, this one does not require direct sunlight. Captures sound and video perfectly, very clear and crisp. Easy to set up with clear instructions. Connects to my homebase 2 and has good storage capacity. Night vision is also great with the option of enabling the torch for colour night vision.

We have had an an Arlo security camera It was mounted on a south facing wall and when the sun shone directly on it, the camera took a recording, sometimes it took dozens of false recordings a day with no one there at all. There is no way to stop it doing this. We have just replaced it with a eufy Security SoloCam S340 & we are very please with it. We have mounted it in exactly the same position that the Arlo camera was positioned & there are NO false recordings activated by the sun. We used a square wooden fence post cap with a large screw positioned in the middle of it to fasten it to the house wall & screwed the camera bracket onto fence post cap. The Eufy camera was very ease to set up. We have an EE smart router with fast fibre broadband. It has 2 band speeds, 2.4 GHz & 5 GHz. The Eufy camera uses the 2.4GHz band speed & we had to temporarly disable the 5GHz band speed in order to synchronise the camera to the EE router. There are various settings on the camera, We set it for humans & vehicles & it records every time it sees a person or a vehicle, the picture is superb both day & night. From the security app we can swivel the camera & we can set a light to come on which shows the picture in colour at night. We charged the camera from the mains using the USB socket before fitting & positioned the solar panel on top of the camera. It keeps fully charged. This is an excellent security camera & we are very pleased with it.

A really excellent piece of kit. This camera works really well and way better than the expensive Google product with it's expensive subscription. No subscription needed here. Ours faces north and you can imagine it gets hardly any Sun light but the battery is staying fully charged. The motion detection and the camera following people is really good. It was easy to fit, just charge it up put it together and mount it. I fixed mine to a piece of treated wood and fixed the wood to the wall and the clipped on the camera. The images day and night are of good quality. I can't find anything to fault. The app is a bit clunky and not intuitive but it works. I've also integrated it into our Google Home so anyone on our Google home can view the camera on their own device. It even pops up on the TV, we have Google TV.

This camera from eufy is absolutely immense! The camera quality is stunning at 3k resolution, with 2.4gHz wifi which seems as if it would be an issue but it is not. The sound quality is great, the ai tracking is mind-blowing as it is built into the camera and does not need a Homebase. The solar charging is very efficient with my camera charging in full sun from 9am to 3pm. With 6 hours of constant sun, I charged 1399 mAh which is very good since I won’t have to take it down ever (currently this is the UK winter). Only downsides of the camera is the brightness of the light and the adjustment of the solar panel on the top of the camera which may affect charging since I could have got a little more sunlight with being able to adjust it more. The notifications are great, best in any solocam range. It is not easy to take the camera down it would require a little time which is a good thing incase of a burglary. The functionality is great, easy and interesting. I would recommend this camera over any other battery camera or wired from Ring. I did replace the Ring Spotlight Cam Plus with this and it is 100 times better for an extra £10 (when on offer). If Anker/eufy do find a way to make the light brighter I would give this a 5 star. Update after 4 months of use: The camera hasn’t come down since it was up, it’s still staying around 100% and is charging a good amount each day. Since the camera performs so well, I have 2 minute clips with ai tracking so it eats into the battery even more (it actually doesn’t). I have generated around 28,000 mAh which is amazing since that’s around 5 charges for the camera? I have also brought another for my north facing garden, which still performs exactly the same as the south.

La mejor opción sin duda!! Estable, carga eficiente, app intiutiva y completa. La AI es efectiva al igual q la oportunidad de las notificaciones. Llevo 3 semanas monitoreando y comparando su desempeñó con la Ring Plus y sin duda eufy S340 es un producto más confiable y CONSISTENTE en todos los sentidos.

Ich habe 3 Kameras gekauft. Die Installation war sehr schnell und einfach, gemeinsam mit der Home Base 3. Ein paar QR Codes scannen in der App und die Home Base anschließen, pro Kamera ca 10 Minuten. Die App ist im Vergleich zu Elro und anderen Herstellern wirklich gut. Zunächst hatte ich Sorgen wegen der hier zum Teil genannten schlechten Reichweite der Kameras oder der Base. Ich habe im Altbau mit zum Teil 50cm dicken Wänden an 3 Ausenwänden die Kameras angebaut und die Reichweite des WLAN entspricht dem, was unser Router auch bietet. Mit der Home Base in der Hausmitte, ungefähr im gleichen Abstand zu allen Kameras, hat jede Kamera 2-3 Striche Empfang und läuft bis jetzt ohne Störungen. Interessant wäre hier, ob man zwischen Home Base und Kameras einen Repeater anbringen kann. Die Akkus müssen vor der Installation einmal mit Ladegerät aufgeladen werden. Bei derzeit absolut trüben Wetter ohne Sonnenschein haben die Kameras jetzt ca 1 Prozent Ladung pro Tag verbraucht, obwohl ich von der Sensorempfindlichkeit, Beleuchtung und Aufzeichnungsdauer alle Funktionen mit dem höchsten Akkuverbrauch eingestellt habe. Sollte eine Kamera tatsächlich leer laufen, kann man sie entweder einfach abnehmen und am Ladegerät aufgeladen oder ein Ladegerät nach draußen legen zum aufladen. Da eine der 3 Kameras aber trotz dem schlechten Wetter anzeigt dass sie 30 Minuten geladen hat, denke ich das es ohne zusätzliches Aufladen geht. Nachdem ich alle Funktionen ausprobiert habe und mit den Bildern bei Tag und Nacht zufrieden bin, habe ich noch nicht den automatischen Zoom verstanden. Die Steuerung, automatische Verfolgung von Personen usw funktioniert einwandfrei. Auch das manuelle Zoomen in der Steuerung ist beeindruckend. Allerdings wäre es besser, wenn eine Bewegung erkannt wird, dass die Kameras die Personen näher ran zoomen während der Verfolgung. Von der Bildauflösung her kann man allerdings in den Aufnahmen noch sehr gut zoomen, da kommen keine Pixel. Die versprochenen 15 Meter sind drin. Allerdings hier ohne automatischen Zoom auf weiter entfernte Personen. Was mir in der Kombination mit der Home Base fehlt, ist die Verfolgung über mehrere Kameras. In der zum Teil nur englischen FAQ Beschreibung kann man sich zwar durch die Base einen Zusammenschnitt der Kameras machen lassen, um den Weg einer Person zu verfolgen. Mir fehlt dabei aber die Funktion, dass die erste Kamera der nächsten Kamera signalisiert, aus welcher Richtung jetzt eine Person kommt und die jeweils nächste Kamera dann schonmal dort hin schwenkt. Das wäre perfekt. Insgesamt bekommt man hier eine sehr gute Kamera mit normaler WLAN Reichweite, guten Akkus und sehr guter Auflösung. Produkte anderer Hersteller mit doppeltem oder dreifachen Preis sind da nicht viel besser. Über die Lebensdauer kann man nach ein paar Tagen natürlich nichts sagen, da tritt mit Sicherheit durch das ständige Drehen irgendwann Verschleiß auf. Für den Preis kann man mehr als zufrieden sein.
