Should be taught to all 1st gen Ghanaians in the US
This book is amazing. A Great history lesson for anyone interested in the Asante. From warrior kings to diplomatic geniuses instrumental in Ghanaian peace and progress. One of the kings (Nana Prempeh I) was baptized and converted to the Christian faith, calling it “great news” , which suggests a legit conversion . I would not expect him to frame it that way based on modern narratives. Ghana owes a lot to its wise Asantehenes for keeping the peace and working to achieve independence.

Where are parts 2 and 3?
This book was amazing! I was doing research on West Africa and decided to give this a try. The cover grabbed my attention, and I learned a lot about Ashanti history. The writing is not a traditional textbook so it is far more interesting to read. The book is a bit pricey, but it is worth it! I will definitely purchase the remaining parts whenever they are released.

Fascinating history
It is interesting to know how the Asante nation established its kingdom through democratic governance. I also like this book because the fonts are large and make reading easy,
