A lil slow at first, but great!
This book is probably my favorite book in the series so far (partly because Sophie and Keefe!) And partly because it just does a good job at keeping your interest, and it's funny. I have like a million highlight! And the ending with Marella is also pretty interesting. I've always wondered what went down with Caprise Redek, and maybe possibly we'll get to know soon? Also. *SPOILER*I got the feeling Elysian wasn't just a place, cause then why would it be so super important? But a PERSON?! I just don't get it. Great book, and for those of you who love Keefe, I'm sure you agree!

Kids love this series more than any screen:-)
I know very little about these books other than the fact that my 11 year old son read this 728 page book in a day and a half. My 10 and 11 year old kids absolutely love this series and I feel like I haven't seen them in a month:-)

My niece loves this series
My niece is very much into this book series. So much so, that when she received an "A" on a school project and we told her we would buy her a gift from Amazon, she specifically requested this book as her gift. (She has the previous books in her possession already).I knew nothing about this book until she told me how good the series was. When the book arrived, I took a quick look through it and I would say it is well written and very easy to read. (Similar to how the Harry Potter books are easy to read) I do like that the main character is about a young girl and her journey of growing up and coming into her own, which is perfect for my 11 year old niece. The book is fairly thick, but the actual size (height and width) isn't super large so my niece can easily carry this in her bookbag or her purse when she goes to visit relatives on the weekend. The only thing I would say is be careful which option you choose, when we bought it we had the choice of paperback or hardcover but the option is easy to overlook. My niece specifically requested the paperback, but my husband accidentally chose the default "hardcover" option instead. (he didn't realize there was an option to choose). But the hardcover does look nice and feels great, and as a book lover and collector myself, I told my niece that book enthusiasts tend to prefer hardcovers because it lasts longer. She's very happy with this book and told us she's already halfway done with it.

The one and only Stellarlune…
This is probably the best book I’ve ever read. I don’t know how Shannon messenger does it with her children and all of that going on. Wonderful series!Everybody should give it a five star review that’s for sure! By Marie C.

SO GOOD
I love this book series!! Highly recommend it. This is a soft cover of book 9. The soft covers come with a special scene from a side character that you wouldn't normally get to read about in detail. I highly recommend

3,5 stars 🙄 🙄
3,5 stars because i feel deceived. In book 9, we have very little Keefe and when finally he shows up, it's a very fast read. We have almost no time to enjoy Sophie and Keefe's scenes together. Yes we have chapter 42, but as a huge SOPHIE- KEEFE fan, i'm upset bc i had to "deal" ( very patiently 😖) with Sophie and Fitz scenes in previous books and i had to wait NINE books to finally have SOPHIE and KEEFE together and it's too little, too fast. The ending and Vespera's death??!! As usual, after NINE books, our heroes are not able to defeat any enemy; Vespera is killed by an enemy herself. I did not see any change from the previous books seriously. In the first 500 and something pages we have lots and lots of dialogue and everything seems to be the same, Keefe's powers could have been used to something in this book but we saw Nothing at all. And book 10 will be the last? I hope not, because it will feel even more rushed. It's impossible to have a conclusion of this complex history and characters in only ONE book. Not to mention SOPHIE and Keefe: i want to see them as a couple, a REAL COUPLE in more than one book and with no more Fitz drama btw them, bc we had enough. I want to see the heroes to win and defeating their enemies by themselves. Elysian is a villain or a good guy??? I hope to be the last, bc this story has already too many villains, very hard to kill -apparently like cockroaches- We don't need another one impossible to kill by our heroes. From book 8.5 to book 9, i was expecting an amazing book and this book seemed - except for the little we had btw SOPHIE and KEEFE - another filler book. Sorry, but i want more, much more than this and i know that you can do it, SM. Less dialogue, more romance/scenes btw SOPHIE and KEEFE, please, bc they are favorites 😉
