Really Useful Box Plastic Storage 9 Litre Clear

The "Really Useful Box" 9L and 4L boxes are highly recommended across several tabletop wargaming creators for being well-sized, sturdy and stackable - this is exactly what I purchased them for. The box is of great quality, and the lid feels secure with the handle shut. I saw in some reviews that people accidentally knocked the handle, unsecuring the lid, and while I can see how this could happen, I have managed this. I also intend to purchase a strap to wrap around the boxes for easier carrying of multiple boxes, which would negate this potential for me anyway. The box is perfect for most (not all) tanks and vehicles, mechs, or many units. When using magnetic strips and magnetising unit bases, they can even be stuck to the box walls, or the underside of the lid - a great way to transport many units at once! The box may be pricey, but a cheap box for expensive miniatures that have had many hours put into painting them... It's a no-brainer to get a quality box!

These are good storage boxes and exactly what I expected. The plastic feels solid and durable, and the clear design makes it easy to see what’s inside without opening them. The lids fit securely and they stack neatly without flexing. They’re not fancy, but the quality is good and they should last a long time with normal use. For a pack of two, the value for money is fair and they’re a practical option for general storage around the house, shed or garage.

What expected at good price and usual quality.

I love this size of box. It takes a ream of A4 printer paper or a selection of other things and fits well onto my shelves. They lock well and are easily stackable. This one is clear but the purple one is my favourite

I wanted additional, manageable storage for CDs. My main storage cases are full and very heavy. This is overflow storage, so holds quite a mix of titles - there are 37 albums in jewel cases in this box. It is a good study box with flip up latches at either end. Obviously it can hold other things. It is though, quite expensive for a plastic box - this is th 6.5 litre box. I actually bought 2 9 litre boxes from the same company, and they were only slightly more expensive for the pair than this single box. Great box, but not so sure about the value.
