I got the Nextbase IQ 4K. The camera is excellent and works great, but the rear dash cam needs and update or firmware asap. It barely works and disconnects all the time from the app. Nextbase definitely needs to update the cameras software more often. I’m using the latest firmware on the camera and the latest app version. The software has way too many bugs, they did a horrible job testing it.Once the connection issues are fix, I’ll update my review!

I was intimidated at 1st but once I installed the camera I found it to be EXTREMELY easy. Nextbase is a premium brand and the video resolution is exactly what I was looking for. Stoked on the product and brand!

Very simple and straight forward to install. Also purchased the front cam and they work perfectly together. Picture is high quality. Love the ability to get notifications on my phone if movement is detected around my car. Our neighborhood has experienced some car break ins recently, and now I have piece of mind I will be able to act quickly if anything happens as well as get a clear image of anyone around my car. Worth every penny!

Would not set up or work. Same thing happened with the iQ main camera and had to send it back. Did every thing according to instructions. Contacted customer support and everything they had me try did not work. Even after multiple attempts, nothing helped. Still waiting for more help and has been over a week without further contact.

The front device would not recognize the rear camera. 2/3 of advertised features do not work. Guardian mode does not work. When I spend more than $900 on a dash cam, I expect it to work. Do yourself a favor, look somewhere else.

Super simple install - did it myself. Image clarity is superb compared to my previous dash cam system as well. The parking feature is really cool - kind of like the Tesla cams that show people or aother vehicles near your car - and I feel like that could come in handy down the road. I'd recommend it and I'm even considering getting another one for my other car!

Front/rear dash cam don’t have infa-red lighting meaning no night vision, as you can see the back up camera is completely blackout since there wasn’t any lights behind my car & the front camera you can only see something if there is light, everything else is blurry and dark. Had my Thinkware U1000 and this dash cam is for sure a downgrade from that dash cam. Very disappointing. I would stay away from this company.

Easy connect to the front camera

So, fitted front camera relatively easy, rear camera, not so much. Aside from it being more difficult to hard wire then the front, but all cameras have that issue anyway, when trying to get the app to detect it, not a sausage. Repeatedly did the steps it asked to do, bear in mind if wired everything in so removing and unplugging and back and forth was a royal pain in the back side. I got in to there live chat support and to be honest, they were really good and helped me to get it working. It needed a firmware update, this required putting a file they sent me in to the SD card and have the devices install the firmware from a cold start.Everything is working and despite that, I would recommend. Hopefully they will make it easier in the future as they suggested they could fix it remotely if that didn't work. Which it did work so all's good 👍

It seems as if trouble can adew with the rear nextbase cam , it's hard to set up, it costs a lot of money and it gets hot on use. This is the second one I purchased and it was tge same out one with both.
