This study bible is wonderful! The 10.5 print size is perfect for my eyes! I am enjoying reading all the excellent articles on relevant woman's issues, essays, biographical portraits, and all the informative book introductions. The well thought out format and colorways create a visually appealing daily study tool. The cover is a beautifully flexible soft letherette, in a blue and brown combination, and the pages have silver gilt edges. I am impressed that so much information resides in this "not too huge" volume, making it a pleasure to handle; I felt quite comfortable with it from the start. This Thomas Nelson Woman's Study Bible, is a worthy addition to my shelf, and I highly recommend it.

Beautiful and all of the footnotes help tie it all together. It’s like reading the Bible alongside someone who can provide a lot of context and additional insight regarding the culture at that time and translation, etc. it’s wonderful!

The ISBN of the Bible in this review is as follows: 978-0-7180-8683-1I cannot say enough good things about this Bible. The craftsmanship is good and the study content is great as well. This is not only one of the best study bibles for women that I have read, but it is among the best study bibles I have read regardless of being aimed at one particular gender or another. If you're a man reading this, please don't shy away from this Bible as I feel it could nevertheless be insightful for you and could work toward improving your relationship with the women in your life, or in just giving you some wisdom and hermeneutics from a more feminine perspective which may prove very refreshing and/or interesting for you indeed.Of note, this Bible, in my opinion, is a bit more conservative-leaning with its study material. Of course, what constitutes conservative or liberal is relative and depends on where one lives, how they were raised, one's general worldview and things of that nature, but coming from an American I'd say the content of this Bible leans a bit more toward the conservative end of the spectrum. However, I am pretty liberal with my worldview and theology and still thoroughly enjoy studying with this Bible and its material has deepened my understanding of scripture. I mention all that because whether a study bible's material is more conservative or liberal leaning is important to some, but in the end I humbly believe this Bible would be great in the hands of anyone regardless of such interpretations of scripture.The quality of the Bible is really nice. It is a durable sewn binding so the Bible lies flat and should hold up even after many years of use. I love the denim feel of the cloth over board cover and the printing quality on the cover and throughout the Bible is excellent. The gilding is a beautiful shiny light pink color, but it is delicate so be careful not to scratch it if you want to keep it looking good for as long as possible. The pages are thin as you would expect in a Bible, but they are not so thin as to crease or wrinkle as easily as the pages of some Bibles tend to do.A word of caution, however. The cloth over board cover is dominated by white and light pink artwork so if you want to keep it clean you should make sure your hands are clean before handling it and be careful sitting it on dirty surfaces. The cover WILL readily pick up any makeup, grime, or whatever else is on your hands or the surface on which you sit the book. Also, another warning, the pages that introduce each book of the Bible were stuck together when I first got my Bible out of the box. It was a bit tedious separating all the stuck pages and I caution you to be careful while doing so. Even if you are rough with this Bible it seems like it is built like a tank and should still hold up if you want to throw it in a suitcase for traveling, give it to a youngster, or anyone who tends to be a bit rough on their books.This Bible is just such an awesome resource and I am really happy to have it added to my growing library. I highly recommend you pick this Bible up if you are in search of a study resource that is not only beautiful with regard to aesthetics but study content as well.I have included a few pictures with this review giving you more insight to this Bible. I am new to reading a Bible and have found this one to be easy to read and love that it has explanations of the passages at the bottoms of the pages. The wording is clear on the pages and easy to read and the Bible itself is very sturdy and well made. The coloring is beautiful inside and out of the Bible. It was worth every penny, and I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good Bible!

This took a few months for this Bible to grow on me even though it is in one of my favorite translations (NIV) but now I love it!!! I INSTANTLY fell in love with The Jesus Bible (NIV) and used that as my primary Bible for several months in a row. Decided to pick this up after making through over have the Bible and started in Proverbs and now I use this Bible and The Jesus Bible together. The study notes are not as in depth as the ESV or NKJV study bibles but I truly appreciate the focus of emotional health for women, the added colors, and the lay out throughout this Bible. Definitely a great gift to give too!

I was so excited to receive my study bible and I waited with bated anticipation. It was worth the excitement, as I love it. It has commentaries, maps good font size which adds to the overall value of this item. I am ready to start using.I also bought MR Pen bible tabs and those were a great addition to my Bible."Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth". So get this Bible and start studying!!
