So here goes, I'm 83, been buying online since I bought my first Dinosaur cage, in other words, a long time. I never write about anything I buy, never did, until now. This "showcase" is stunning, I spent years as a "tool and die maker" sweating in a machine shop, had too, my dad owned it, so I know precision when I see it.This "Showcase" is built with precision that I did not expect, every single corner brace and plastic screw, went in with such ease, I could turn them almost tight with my finger tips, every single corner brace and every single tiny screw, went in with ease, I could have put it together with my eyes closed and one hand tied behind my back...like my wife used to do to me, until I divorced her.Anyway guys and girls, if you are looking for a "showcase" for some fancy collectible, BUY ONE OF THESE...you will love it. I thank whoever made these and thank the seller, SERIOUSLY.

The instructions aren’t the most clear, but a bit of common sense (and simply looking at one already assembled) you can pretty much figure out how put this thing together on your own. There are a few pet peeves that have probably been brought up ad nauseam: the difficult to peel plastic coverings and little screws that will need to be pushed with force to lock in each panel. There are three things that separate this type of display case from others: the use of pins and corner pieces to lock in each side, a mirrored background, and a magnetic opening front “door”. Each of these elevate an otherwise very cheaply constructed case into something more elegant looking and functional. Without an opening door, you would have to disassemble it or permanently keep your figurine in there.

Very nice display case for the price. Assembly went smoothly. The major drawback is that the protective film on the panels was very difficult to remove. Would be a major improvement if manufacturer left a small pull-tab on each piece of film. With that, I would have rated 5 stars.

So the qualms with lackluster assembly instructions are more than fair - but if you just go by the instruction photos it's a fairly easy assembly. The important part is that all the pieces felt of good quality. I did make a couple rushed mistakes in assembly... but backing out the acrylic screws posed no problem and the threading was surprisingly strong - taking even intentional extra tightening just as a test. Really nice display case for the price.

I ordered a smaller version of this case for a bobblehead. It was a pain to put together, but I finally got it. It was slightly too small for the bobblehead, so I used the smaller case for something different and bought the next larger size. I figured I'd have an easier time putting together the second one. WRONG!! Once I had the time to sit down and put the larger case together (after the return window, of course 🙄), I realized that not one of the screws is long enough to secure the corner clips to the base or side pieces. Since I can't send it back, now I have to take the time to use some kind of adhesive along with the too-short screws. A project that should've taken 10 minutes has turned into a major ordeal. All of this could've been avoided if quality control had tested the length of the stupid screws!!

I bought this to keep dust off an anime figure. For that, it does a so-so job. Since the sides have some noticeable gaps, they let dust in pretty easily. However, the mirrored back lets me see a full 360 view of the figure, and that adds enough to the piece's display that it's worth it. Plus, this was one of the few display cases available that actually fit my figure's dimensions.Assembly was pretty simple- the pieces more or less slot into each other. Two tips for putting this together: (1) WEAR GLOVES WHEN YOU HANDLE THIS. Every plane of this thing shows fingerprints like crazy, and you'll go nuts trying to get them off. The inside is NOT easy to clean, once its together. The kit comes with at least 1 soft, fabric glove, but I'd cover both hands if I did this again. And (2) Make sure you peel the protective film off BEFORE you put the pieces together. The film gets stuck between the grooves if you don't.

I love these. I've bought so many of various sizes I can assemble them in just a few minutes. They look really sharp, the mirror is really nice, and the door is very convenient. I will say the microfiber cloth provided is really poor quality and will leave more dust than it cleans -- use your own. Just take your time when you assemble them. There are always extra fasteners, but they are a pain to remove if you mess up.My only caution would be NOT to base your decision on the stated INCHES measurement. The inches are ROUNDED, the metric measurement is much more precise. I almost had a disaster with the largest size being smaller than I planned for but fortunately it worked out.

The direction are horrible so needed taken apart. The plastic pins broke. The magnets on the door don't line up to hold the door shut so it just opens. It comes with gloves and a wipe cloth with is nice. The mirror back is also nice. This could be a really nice case if the door part aligned properly and the directions made sense. There are gaps that will let dust in. Since the door doesn't line up with the magnets it swings open. Also the clips are crappy and break.
