Love it
I loved this book. As a fan of the Untouchables world anytime I get to read these characters brings me so much joy. James and Penny's love story is one of the best, I love getting into James' mind and it fills blanks you didn't know needed filling. Isabella is a truly hateable character but the hate for her just adds another gripping element to this story. The Untouchables at college was hilarious and the 4 of them together always brings so much joy.

Devoured
I read the whole hunter series. Brilliant. It's good to get James' side of the story. Bringing the boys into the story with events that happened before Penny arrived on the scene makes you more aware of James demons. I found the going back to his college days for Dr Clarke a little bit too long but nevertheless an enjoyable read and page turner. Always recommend Ivys books and her genre.

Addicted to Professor Hunter
If you have read the Hunted series then you will be thinking that you know all about this series as it’s the same but only told from James’s point of view, but you are wrong, so wrong. I mean I have read The Hunted series a few times ( yes it’s that good ) but having it told from James’s pov has you so enthralled that you just can’t turn the pages quick enough. Ivy has a way of submerging you into her characters and pulls your emotions in all directions and this book is no different. James is such a troubled soul and just pulls on my heart strings he is a firm favourite with Ivy’s fans and even though if you’ve read Penny’s pov and know how the story ends it has absolutely no impact on this story at all. There is so much more insight into this and the flash backs has me just waiting desperately now for the finale of the Empire High series. I absolutely loved the part where Rob mentions Tanner ( Ivy that was genius I’m still laughing at that )The title of this is so aptly named as it was absolutely Devoured.I could not recommend this book, series and Ivy Smoak highly enough.

Hooked from the start!
I really enjoyed the empire high stories, but this book is next level intriguing. James is such a complex man, I never know where his mind will go next! And BTW, chapter 31 had me laughing out loud on the train! 😂 It's dark, deep & lush... but then made me belly laugh! Thanks Ivy, keep em comin'

Loved James POV!
I love reading the Hunted Series through James' eyes. You understand just how much he was going through and the love he felt for Penny even when he was trying to fight it. I loved the flashback to college days with Mason, Rob & Matt 💔

Drawn out!
I've loved James Hunter since I first read these books over the pandemic and at first I enjoyed the thought of reading this series but it's just being drawn out. Having moved on to other authors, the formatting of Ivy's books is just irritating. And this could just have been put into one book but we are getting 3 maybe more of the first book in the Hunted series if my memory is correct. But nice to dive into James mind.

James.... !!
This POV from James's perspective is fascinating. Not just regarding his blossoming relationship with Penny but the very amusing insights into his life revolving around Rob, Mason & Matt (my heart always goes to Matt). Of course, we can't forget the evil witch that is Isabella Pruitt, but her story/comeuppance is to come later. Can't wait for 2023 when I get to read Loved and EH 8.
