Outstanding product and support
I decided to add on to my six-year old media converter network and the AD-net combined converter/switch seemed ideal. Unfortunately for me a great deal has changed in the last six years and I had to do quite a bit of research to understand all the new options that an SFP offers, e.g., MMF, SMF, MM, MMD, LC, SC, and quite a bit more.I eventually arrived at what I thought were the correct specs that I wanted for the SFP, cable and AD-net. I emailed the Amazon links for the actual products I had chosen directly to AD-net for their feedback. It turned out my old converter was only Fast Internet (FE) and would not interface with the Gigabit AD-net. After a few more emails everything was approved and I ended up with three AD-nets, four SFPs, MMF and SMF cables, and four UTPs.As I researched my goals I ended up receiving 16 emails from the AD-net tech support person, Rolands. Every email I sent was answered either immediately or within 24 hours. Every reply was courteous and helpful. If Rolands did not know the answer he contacted his supervisor, no BS answers. You could not ask for better support.I hooked everything up and the network worked perfectly the first time and has been working fine the last week.I give the highest possible recommendation for the AD-net and especially for the tech support.

Good solid gear, excellent after-sales support
Using two of these to split off traffic in remote locations on my properties. Pretty much plug and play. I had issues at first and wrote to the seller who quicly responded, and followed up even after I advised them I'd figured out the problem was with my fiber, not their equipment. I will buy from them again.

which is perfect for since I prefer using fiber
I've bought it for my home office, since needed extra ports for my computers. This is cheap alternative to otherwise very expensive managed switch and it has both SFP and UTP ports, which is perfect for since I prefer using fiber. No issues encountered while installing it. Simply plugged everything in, and it started working.

It worked out of the box
I bought this to extend the fiber wire to another location and it works great i have not used the ether net wire yet but I liked the flexibility it gives me. I plugged everything in and have not been back since and have no complaints from the people it is serving. material quality is good it seems well made, Durability only time will tell

Works Great
Need a small gigabit switch to add to my 2nd floor office.I wanted to run fiber to interconnect switches. This little unit solved the issue well.So far it's working great. Get the right gigabit rated transceivers though.

Very durable & outstanding quality
Have been using this product for 5 months, 24/7 and I could say it is very reliable, no issues whatsoever. It is very hot in the networking room, but that didnt affect performance whatsover. Definetly recommend!
