Good enough for me!
Seems to be OK. Not real thick but thick enough to handle easily and make for a nice looking panel

A woodworkers thoughts
My initial thoughts were, this stuff is too flimsy. After flattening as the instructions stated and gluing up my first shelf (I veneered some new cabinets I built out of MDF) I realized this stuff is pretty good. It's user friendly and really looks good. Even when gluing up the veneer with a seam, the seams flushed up nicely and you can't tell there are 2 peices of veneer. You can sand lightly, it sands nicely I was also pleased to see how well it took finishing oil. I was so pleased, I just purchased 3 more rolls of the 2ftx8ft paperback veneer. I used this on the shelves and I painted the cabinet carcasses dark charcoal gray, the shelves look like solid walnut, I'm impressed. The trick is using just the right amount of glue if you get the paperback. Not too much, not too little. Too much glue and it will ripple the veneer and ruin the finished product. This product gave me the look I had envisioned. Thanks

Don’t waste your time
I tried using a 22” x 70” sheet of this material on top of a chest cabinet and had a terrible experience. Removing glue bubbles was almost impossible. The surface ended up rough and uneven, even with hot iron and roller. I thought I had finally smoothed the bubbles out and rolled toward the edge, but the veneer cracked at the end, ruining the entire piece. What a waste of time and effort. Save yourself the frustration, don’t bother with this product!

Looks better than my Room and Board furniture
Looks wonderful! Coated the plywood substrate with Titebond III using a roller brush. Placed the veneer on top and clamped a piece of plywood on top for 30 minutes. Ran my iron with parchment paper over the veneer slowly. Gently sanded and coated with Danish oil. Cut it into shelves (used a 1.5" veneer edging for the front). Look better than the purchased piece sitting next to them.

Good stuff
Veneer was exactly as described. It has a very nice grain pattern and nice paper backing. It worked well for my project with curved surfaces.

Caution
I ordered this product a few months ago and it was great, the last shipment was quite a bit thinner than the first and not as good quality
