I was a bit apprehensive of this memory foam when I first opened up the package, mainly because it smelled odd. Not sure what the chemical smell is, but I would air it out before use for a few days. I stuffed some barstools with it, they had lost their cushion fell after time. They are very comfortable now, which is why I gave it 3 stars. So they really do work to give extra comfort to a sitting chair. Although for pillow stuffing I would not recommend this because the chunks are large and not fine enough for a smooth feel.

This is not pillow stuffing foam. It arrived in a double cover of some sort. I took off the outside blue nylon, zippered cover to find a 20"x20" block of hard foam inside a thinner beige nylon cover. I bounced it around a bit and waited for it to expand. And waited and waited. A week later, after pulling at it, pounding on it, the foam finally almost filled the beige cover which now resembles some kind of low bean bag chair. I cannot use the foam for bed pillows as it remains sorta bumpy to touch, so I've left it as a bean bag, covered it with a fleece throw and my cats love it.

A toss-up between 3 and 4 stars. The product serves its purpose now that I got it into the 2 dog beds I wanted to refill. My dogs are comfier. But so much of the foam is shredded so finely it's a time-consuming mess to deal with. Considering the cost, it's unfortunate they don't give you more uniform pieces, or at least not the tiny, messy ones.

so far so good. I didn't use all of it, I just wanted to fluff a dog bed and it seems to be working okay. So now I have more if I need it.

I used the memory foam to refill my large bean bag. It works great and was worth the money, just a bit messy getting all of the foam into the bean bag.

Filled up our bean bag chair perfectly. It took a little work getting it into the inner bag without spilling it everywhere but we finally got it all in and not on the floor. It would be easy but the inner bag of our bean bag only has a small opening so couldn’t get the whole bag in at the same time. But now it is perfect once we got it in.

Large bag of shredded memory foam fill.It was double bagged, but do your filling outside as this is messier than 'beans'. Also it does not flow like beans and is firmer shape as a result yet soft and springy like a cushion. It is great in a bean bag or pillow but make sure that you have it closed or the small pieces may come out.

Did exactly what I needed it to do! Just a warning: the shredded pieces were smaller than I originally imagined, so getting them from the bag into the item I was making was a bit of an adventure.
