Great key box.
Great key box for the spare key (for when you have lost yours!), or for holiday let properties. Easy to erect, works really well and will continue working for many a year. It is a decent size, so will fit most keys. All in all, great product and represents good value for money.

Key lock
This key Lock is great. Use so my dog walker or family can get into my house when I'm not home. It was easy to fit and set up. Also gives piece of mind that if the door blows shut I can get back in. Very well made and heavy

Robust but unsophisticated
First things first, this is a very heavy, chunky unit - once you get it locked, I don’t think it would be easy to break into. The hasp part, which you can use as a simple hanger or as a padlock, doesn’t depend on the use of the key you might hide in here - once you open the box with the code, there is a spring catch accessible inside the unit to release the hasp. So you could use this as a code - controlled padlock without any keys.If you do want to hide a key in here, there is a single rather flimsy plastic hook to hang a single key or, as I have, a ring holding two or at most three keys. You could just put keys in loose but would need to be ready to catch them on opening the box.Setting the code is definitely the most important, most awkward and most surprisingly basic aspect of this unit. You need a screwdriver to turn your chosen code elements 180 degrees. We have not found a screwdriver in our extensive collection which fits well, and thus have had to use one which is a bit small for the slots. The metal in the slotted number select ours is quite soft and they are stiff to turn, so it is very easy to damage the slots in the process. Setting the code has taken several attempts and we will not be able to reset it due to the damage to slotted selectors on a couple of numbers. You simply pick up to eight characters from twelve available (0-9 plus * and #); these are then entered in any order to spring the unit open. It therefore offers little real resistance to anyone willing and able to sit and work through the buttons to crack the code, given time and patience.Once the code is set, the processes of locking and unlocking are straightforward. Be aware that sometimes the instructions muddle up clockwise and anti-clockwise.This is not so secure that I would leave my house keys or car keys in them, certainly not if leaving the unit anywhere visible. If you have somewhere to hide this (at the back of an unlocked shed, for example) it could be useful for hiding a spare key for emergency access.

Helpful for that spare
We wanted to leave a key in case we locked ourselves out so a keysafe was a good idea for us. This one is discreet enough not to be immediately noticeable, has a good solid clunk as it locks and (so far) has unlocked when we wanted it. Easy to see numbers help too.

A decent product at a fair price
This Key box looks OK. My wife and I had been talking about getting one of these recently and then the opportunity to receive this one under the Vine programme was a real bonus. Its quite a sturdy design and simple to set up. I did have a slight hassle removing the padlock like hoop to fit it on the outside. The two spring loaded clips that hold it in place did not want to move, so I ended up using a screwdriver just so I could press them in to release it and refit the hoop to the top (a minor issue). The keypad is fairly standard, the instructions to set it up are very easy to follow and once you set a code remember that the numbers can be entered in any order so if you set it up with 51243 thinking that is hard to guess remember that 12345 will open the key box so not so good. Remember it is always worth pressing C first just to reset the keypad before entering the number, the keys need a good press and it is impossible to tell which is a correct number and which is not and there are enough combinations to ensure its secure. It also looks like it will screw to a wall or post with no issues which is useful. All in all though I think this is a good item. Price wise it appears to be OK for what it is, it is not the cheapest, but is far from the most expensive.I will say that the small stick on letters (Beetro) on the outside of the keypad cover are a bit silly, they have already fallen off this box. I think the company should just not bother.3 months laterI had always planned to attach this to a post outside securely (there are 5 places where you can drill the back) and this is now done. I made sure the screws had washers and also put o rings on the screws to ensure the box remains watertight.

Great solid lock
The media could not be loaded. Great large solid lock which can be used as a basic padlock for a gate or shed door or can be used to keep car keys safe when doing water sports. It can be easily attached to a strut under your car. This is handy as most cars now can only be locked electronically making any contact with water an absolute no no. Great item.

Sturdy key storage solution
Securing keys for a house full of forgetful minds has been a concern, but this lock box offers a neat solution. It hangs comfortably on the doorknob, and the weather hasn't managed to disturb its duty. Adjusting the combination, a little fiddly at first, offers peace of mind. Its sturdy build doesn't bow to prying tools, keeping our small emergencies at bay.
