Great product very well priced delivered quickly

So my original one was falling to bits, and my skin was looking irritated. This took a little getting used to, the top is much deeper to accommodate airvents, so the whole quest feels like it's leaning forward off your face initially. I changed my straps a bit and I have gotten used to it. The vents are good when in a racing sim with a fan pointed at myself, the airflow noticeably gets in behind the mask, the gel filling means the mask is cool when u put it on but it warms up over time. Initially because it felt off balance I had it quite tight, this resulted in virtical creases in my forehead because the material covering the gel pad has little creases in it. This effect is lessened once i got used to the shift in the balance and loosened it again. It definitely puts less pressure on the lower part that contacts the cheeks than the the standard one tho. Overall, it's interesting, and different, better in some ways, does the job.

Like some others here, I was sceptical about this item. My 11yo was getting really bad chafing across his cheeks and brow with the original foam surround that came with the MQ2. My wife saw this and suggested we tried it. And, am I glad we did..! This is different gravy! My son's been playing Gorilla Tag for a long time and he's had none of the chafing or soreness since using this replacement facepiece. Being able to put it in the fridge is genius and my son loves the cold, cooling feeling. Also, it doesn't stink after use like the original did. A quick wipe over with some surgical spirit every few days, keep it in the fridge and you're good to go every time. It doesn't eliminate redness completely but it's almost non-visible any longer. I would highly recommend this item.

I Bought this to replace the Original face pad. I thought the original let in too much light and ruined the immersion a bit.So bought this in the hope it would keep out more light and be less sweaty than the original. I will say it is far less sweaty, in fact not sweaty at all, so its ticked that box very well. However it still lets light in around the nose. so that's a shame.
