Metal connectors, with strain relief, braided cord seems rugged enough. Less likely I will tear them out when plugged into airplane and stand-up forgetting I'm still attached (how I damaged the original). Time will tell...

I often need to replace the cable to my Bose headphones for plane use as I’m one of these people who gets out of my seat with my headphones on and yank the cable either out of the seat tv or my headphones! These work great, good connection, sound quality and good length.
