UT WireUT Wire Cordline 2-Way Cord Channel in Paintable White, 8-ft Continuous Roll

I like this cord channel. The material is easy to work with, soft and flexible, so easy to cut and install compared to the plastic cord channels I've gotten before. This cord channel comes in a roll of 8ft. The installation is pretty easy if you just follow the instruction. What I like the best about them is that there are 2 ways you can install this depending on your need. If you only have a few cords, you can just fold the cord channel length ways in half and tape on the wall. I followed the second way because I have more cords from my tv system. I just cut the roll in two long channel to use as a base and cover. It gives me twice as much capacity than the first way. It takes out the guess game of trying to figure out what size of cord channel i need to fit the cords i have. Tape is easy to work with and sticks on pretty well. Like the instruction said, just press a few times for maximum bonding result. No issues with mine yet. The cover looks nicely on my wall and not the ugly cords dangling. For the price, i think its worth it. Better than hiring someone to go behind the wall.

I was very pleased with this. The color is bone or ivory, maybe. The important thing is that it is almost white. So I put it along my white baseboard molding rather than along the wall. I had a number of wires, so I cut it into two pieces of equal length and used the unfolded method of installation. One wire had to come out of the molding part way; it was easy to cut a notch in the soft rubber to permit that. I nailed the molding to the baseboard rather than using the two-sided tape. (Nail marks are easier to clean up than tape residue.) The mating half pressed on easily. Because it is soft, I could insert the wires and work from one end to the other, neatening the wires, and pressing on the cover, a foot or so at a time.

I purchased 4 packages of the 8-ft Cordline, 2-Way Cord Channel by UT Wire to hide cords in our theater room.Pros:I love that you can paint this to blend in the ceiling/wall.Secures the cord once it is put together and does not come apart.Separates the cords so they do not become tangled.Easy to cut to what you need.Well made soft rubber, it is thick.Cons:The Cordline kept coming off on the ceiling when we used the doubled tape.Had to use a few dry wall nails on the ceiling to hold it up securely.Need to use two hands to close the 2-Way Cord Channel.Overall, I like the Cordline and definitely recommend to anyone that wants to hide cords that are not easy to hide. I think it was easier to use going down on the wall than going across the ceiling. It has been installed for about 3 weeks and it has not started to come off anywhere.

It is not hard wire rated Do not buy if you want to use in hard wire applications. Web site did not specifically mention this restriction. Very thick. Recommend use where it cannot be seen. However adhesion was strong, easy to use and install. I ended up cutting it for size then discovered its hard wire restrictions. Other wise I would have returned it.

I’m using it to span a doorway into our garden room, running a power strip cord from one side to the other. It is sturdy and has the capacity for the larger diameter cord. I could have used an extra foot in length but made it work

These wire concealers were easy to install. The plastic is very sharp and I cut my fingers numerous times. The adhesive ripper paint and small chunks of drywall off of my walls. I have to spackle and repaint all of the area I had these at.

I purchased this to hide the cables from my wall mounted TV & PS4. The PS4 is behind the TV so now there are no cables visible at all. I was able to take some of my left over wall paint and apply it to the cord hiding system. I am more than pleased. If I have to do this again with another TV I'll be ordering it again.

I looked at several options and this was the best one for me, it's very versatile, can be used more than one way, easy to cut, handle and install, can be painted to match your wall, make it to any size you want.
