Profoto Speedring to Bowens Mount Converter Monolight Interchangeable Adapter Ring

I picked this up for use on a Profoto Compac 1200 light to adapt a 7-foot Bowens softbox to my Profoto lights. The 7-foot softbox is heavy, but this speedring adapter held up well. I used that particularly softbox, because there is always some dip when using it, and I figured if this speeding could handle that softbox, then it could handle just about anything.Sure enough, there was a slight dip- as happens even when I do not have to use an adapter....but the adapter itself didn't break or slip. It held on, stayed firm, and the adapter ring itself was no worse for wear.I'll be ordering 5 more of these adapters for my other Profoto lights. (See as how so many of my softboxes have Bowens mounts.)

No need to pay profoto prices on your accessory equipment. This mount works great. Recommended.
