We're replacing a good-condition beam that is one just a few inches off the ground.This is a FANTASTIC, strong, reliable, predictable, easily-adjustable, rightly-padded, high quality beam with great flexibility to allow usage for many different levels of users...and it's covered by a nice looking, sustainable fabric. OH! and it's also quiet in its joints--just like a young gymnast! lolAt time of ordering and review, I am not seeing similar beams for a lower price than the $105 of this star-pattern one we chose. Also great that this seller offers numerous different colors and patterns to fit desired decor.

This balance beam has some adjustment so it isn’t all the way up. I got this for my 3yr olds to use and practice balancing on. It was an immediate hit, they wanted to play on it all night instead of going to bed the first night. Now in the morning they wake up and use it while waiting for breakfast. I have behind the couch so they can still hold onto something until they fill more comfortable. Setup took less than 5 minutes, there is a slight oily smell on the metal that you will notice when handling. I love the star and space theme over a flat color or rainbow. The only issue I have is that I don’t have a good place to store it while they aren’t using it, so for now it will live behind the couch. This balance beam support my weight as well,(~175lbs) with any issues.
