I gave this set of knives to my step-daughter for Christmas '23. First of all, the knives are great quality and very sharp. It was a great purchase. Unfortunately, a metal piece came off the end of one of the handles, and she lost it. She didn't tell me about it until Christmas '24. I took a photo of it and emailed it to the customer service team asking for the metal piece to glue it back on...easy fix. Instead, they sent a whole new knife and didn't even ask for the old one back. They really stand behind the product. When I need knives for myself, I know where to get them.Thank you Shan Zu customer service team.

I bought this for my son for Christmas. He likes to cook and cooks a lot of Asian food. He is a fan of Japanese culture as well. It is a heavy knife. It is very sharp. He loves it and uses it often. It cleans easily. These knives can get very expensive but I got this when it was on deal and feel I got a great value for the $.

This knife was so sharp the first time I used it I cut myself 3 times and didn’t notice until I saw the blood. Hopefully it stays this sharp. Or maybe not.
