Punching bag
This thing holds up well. No leakage, it’s a good value, the tank holds a lot of water. My husband and son punch on this all the time.

Good for apartment living room - carpet floor
Moderately good product for a moderate price. Filled with 250lbs of play sand and withstands Muay Thai kicks. It does move a bit but if you circle around it as you train it should easily stay within a 3’ circle. Recommend minimum 6’ radius work zone from center to train comfortably.

Keeps Me Sane
I have been pounding on this bag as hard as I can for years now and it just takes it. All of your frustrations, stress, pretending this is a bully: this bag just TAKES it. Thanks so much for a phenomenal product! I bought this in 2014.April 2020 update: I’m still using and abusing this. It should be noted that I have the base filled with rocks and it is very heavy. I also have fairly grippy mats under it. I’ve been boxing/training off and on for 16 years and my punches certainly shift it, but just an inch or two thanks to the setup. Still loving it and factually will buy this again if I wear it out. I don’t kick or have any particular interest in doing that. I believe there is an XL version that has more coverage with the padding and would be better suited for that.February 2021 update: STILL using this. Constantly boxing, trying new gloves and really pounding on this bag. I tried to zip tie it to the position I like, but the zip ties exploded after a few punches lol. I may put a rod through, may not. It's not much trouble to reposition exactly where I want it.December 2021 update: In transitioning to kickboxing, the padding is finally showing a bit of wear in the middle. Which makes sense. Just a bit of a small fold, yet still in fantastic condition now almost 7 years later. I’ll just keep pounding on it until it dies lolApril 2022: It has finally needed some repairs. The tabs that lodge the back to the post have worn down and are no longer effective. As such, the bag simply falls. After trying a few solutions, I’ve found that drilling a few holes and installing heavy duty drywall anchors and screws has fixed it. I installed four. If they break, I’ll distribute the pressure by adding more. If that fails, I’ll cut the inner post off and instal nuts and bolts. Right back to it!

In hitting heaven
I had wanted a heavy bag for a long time, and had just been putting it off. My husband got this for me, went and got the bags of sand, and at my suggestion based on other reviews, a funnel. He started filling it when I was at work, and he texted that it was going to take forever because the sand clogs the funnel (cut the end off, by the way for a wider mouth). He had about half a 50lb bag of sand in the base, and that took him about an hour. I got home and I watched for a minute or two. I got a butter knife and a chair and sat next to him. You can fill this on your own, but it is easier with two; one to scoop and one to stir. The trick is to use the butter knife and stir like you're mixing frosting in a bowl. It is easier to have someone to scoop because you can get a 2 cup scoop of sand down in about 15 seconds and it helps keep your stride and pace to not have to stop. Now, if you don't have a helper, I discovered on the last bag (of course) that if you cut the bag open and let it sit a few hours, it dries just enough to make it go that much faster, and while my bags averaged 25 to 30 minutes, the last bag was completely in the base (yeah, I used the full 250lbs of sand...I figured when "they" said 230lbs, they meant the base if full at that amount but it looks like I could probably do another bag but based on the instructions, I wouldn't) in about 15 minutes. So the slightly drier sand makes all the difference in the world! I use this bag regularly. I can't speak to sliding around with the impact. I have mine on carpet in the corner, and I have an old yoga mat that I hate rolled up and in between the base and wall, so it sits solid and takes impact with no trouble.

Kicking boxing the bad energy away!
So after a lot of researching on this product I finally bought it and it was delivered super fast surprisingly. It came in perfect condition and was already assemble for me and my spouse to place outside in the backyard. So we didn't fill the base with water like some did in their reviews. We decided to use sand to fill the base and bought four bags of sand from Home Depot. We got a small shovel also. Honestly pouring the sand into that small hole where the base is connected was a nightmare! Due to it was a small hole and the sand kept spilling all around the base. So we had to use our heads and make a funnel out of foil, place it on-top of the hole and pour sand into the funnel. That worked perfectly though it took three days to fill the base with all four bags of sand. If you can have a partner or friend take turns pouring the sand it saves time. I would suggest using a chair to sit down while pouring the sand like we did as we took turns. Anyway's after three days of filling sand it was finally done. And it was worth it because after giving it a few tests of punching the bag it seemed to be pretty sturdy. We are happy with the product to this day. We enjoy kicking the bag and punching the bag for our workouts now. Very pleased with this product. I would recommend it to whoever is reading this or thinking of buying this item. Especially during this COVID-19 where boxing gyms are closed right now and people are missing working out and letting stress be released.

Love it, very good and durable
I have another Century punching bag just like this, but my other one is old, torn and worn out which is the reason I bought this new one. I love Century punching bags. The base is sturdy and you can really throw hard punches and kicks to get a really good feel of your punches and kicks because the material is very durable. My 1st bag, I filled with water which is great. This new one, I filled with sand (just 100 lbs. at $7 per 50 lb. bag at Home Depot) and it's sturdy enough to stay in place. Filling with sand is a pain, but this one is staying indoors in my house gym room, so sand is better if using it indoor on 2nd floor.
