This is a great, natural product that has so many uses. My cousin has been an OR nurse for 20 years and she won't use certain ingredients or chemicals (white vinegar for cleaning, toothpaste that doesn't have fluoride, etc). Got this for her few years ago at TJ MAXX and never thought anything of it. But she brought up this product recently telling me to put in my bath for help with my eczema. She firmly believes this clay will help draw out impurities. I use it as a face mask, on my legs if my skin is itchy from some eczema/dermatitis spots. As you continue to use it on your face, it will be less & less red after removing the clay. I also love the bowl & tools they send with it. Why did you pick this product vs others?:All natural, no animal testing & recommended by my nurse cousin who is very smart and trust what she says.

This is a great face or hair mask if you just want to detoxify. This didn’t cause any irritation to my face or scalp which I love because I have sensitive skin/scalp. Don’t let this dry fully because it’s not good for your skin and also once it starts cracking on your face it hurts. It’s easy to remove with just some warm water. It mixes easy with other powders so you can customize it however you like you’ll probably just have to add more water or ACV. All of the tools are useful as well and the bowl is easy to clean since it’s finished wood.

Love the kit/set, wooden bowl & plastic utensils. Great for mixing up a batch of face masks or homemade toothpaste ( because I don’t want to use metal)

I gave it 4 stars as it was my first time using it and I'm not sure how it has benefited me as yet. I felt a burning sensation and then a tingling feeling when using it on my skin. I didn't realize at first it was because the clay had dried on my skin so it felt like my skin was extremely dry lol. The next time I used it I realized so I was able to keep it on for longer. I like the product as I use it on my hair, face and skin. Also, I haven't learnt how to get a smooth mixture as yet either. My mixture comes out lumpy.I'll come back with an update as to how it has benefited my hair, face and skin.

I mixed a spoonful of the clay and a spoonful of organic apple cider vinegar with the mother. It mixed well and applied easily with the brush. It made enough for my face, neck and chest. I loved it. My pores were really cleaned out and my skin was soft and silky afterwards. I used a hot wash cloth to rinse off in the tub after a half hour. It did leave debris in the tub I needed to clean after but not an issue for me. Will be buying again!

This is my second purchase of this product, it lasts FOREVER (I use 1/3 a scoop plus 1/3 a scoop of apple cider vinegar for one mask application -remember equal parts) and its quality is always consistent. It is a wonderful value for money and never causes irritation or burning in my skin, in fact it feels cooling. If you’re looking for a good mask try this one!
