These work wonderfully well! I had previously bought the slightly cheaper "12 piece set of Jobar Slacks Hangers Open Ended pants Easy Slide Organizers", and can provide a ready comparison:Pros in favor or this product:- The metal part is both, heavier and thicker in diameter - It makes me more confident that it is stronger and will thus last longer- The black coating is not just on the bottom rail, but extends from the diagonal portion of the hanger too.- The black coating is fixed on the hanger. Hence, it does not roll on the metal and holds the pants in place. The Jobar one is just a straw on the metal that rolls, and sometimes my pants just roll off the hanger- The black coating is more non-slip than the Jobar set- These look a lot nicer!Cons against:- Slightly more expensive (on a per-hanger basis), but in my opinion totally worth it!- You can only buy them in 20s as opposed to in 12s for the other productIn my opinion, neither of the above cons was bad enough to dock a star! 5 stars to this product! By the way, I wear size 32 pants and I have no problem with the width of these hangers.Edit: Its been over a year since I've been using these. Still working out great! Still love these hangers. I got these hangers for my husband. Hangers are generally boring things but I must say that I was pleasantly surprised to find that this set was pretty sexy. Not only is the design snazzy but it looks great in our wardrobe and I proudly hang them in front. There is some grip on the hangers which I see as a good thing, not bad as they keep your pants from slipping off. I have clothes that fall off slippery plastic hangers and that is such a pain! The hangers were extremely well-constructed (beyond my expectation) and I have no worries about them bending like some plastic hangers do with something heavy on them after a period of time. Although these hangers are not cheap like the ones you get elsewhere, I have no doubt that they will last a long time. The only downside is that these hangers can't be used on clothes that you need to hang up by the shoulders, but I guess that this was not what they were made for anyway. I know that I gave them to my husband but I will probably steal some back for my scarfs! Pros:- Strong - can hold jeans and heavy pants- Holds - tacky black "rubber" hold pants in place- Size - the height of hanger is shallow enough, which help with tight closets / long pants- Quality - doesn't crease dress pantsCons:- Super Tacky - the "rubber" can bind up the pants when attempting to slide them onto the hanger. I see this more as a learning curve.The hangers meet my price value index. I was concerned that the photo was showing the "rubber" at different heights along the upper part, but that was not the case when I received them. The lot I received were all at the same height and go about 1/3 of the way up. Compared to similar hangers obtained at a local store, they are not as tall, but that is a pro for me. It reduces the height I need in the closet to hang my pants (adjustable bar) so I can add another shelf. The locally bought ones were almost twice the height.Overall I am please with the purchase and would recommend them.

I am in love with these hangers, and they have changed the organization and efficiency of my entire closet. The grip is efficient, holds them on, but allows me take things off and back on with ease. The hanger is sturdy, has some weight to it. The design makes it so items are never off balance.I also use them for sweaters, folded over, ( like dry cleaners fold).The head of the hanger is just the correct thickness that they never overlap, even if I have a number of items in my hand and put them on the bar at the same time. Not one protector cap has ever fallen off.In my top 10 purchases over!

I bought these hangers because I needed room in my closet for my pants and the plastic hangers I have currently are not good. These are heavy and well made so I would not worry about them bending under the weight of my pants, they have a thick coating on them so my pants do not slide off them, I can put a shirt over the hanger with my pants to have an outfit, and they work great for my yoga pants and other workout gear. I am very fond of the no slip grip.I do think they are well suited for a strong rack and I put mine near the support because of the weight, when you have more than one they tend to bow my wood rack a little. They are a bit too thin for my slacks or dress skirts because they will leave a crease, however you can put you pants a bit more toward the pocket and it's not too bad.Overall, I like them for my sweat pants, yoga pants, and other athletic gear, I like that they are no slip so my clothes will not fall off and I can stack my yoga pants to save me room.Only things that bother me a little are the fact they will leave a crease and they are a little heavy when you have more than a few on a wooden rack.
