Tiny but mighty
Bought as a replacement for my baton 4 with charger as I lost it - which is possible as this thing is small. But replaced as its so good, perfect for dog walks in the UK winter, lasts for ages and had a few lower light settings plus security epilepsy inducing flashing mode gives that little added sense of security.

Ridiculously powerful for the size — perfect EDC upgrade
This is the flashlight I didn’t know I needed until I tried it. The build is rock solid, and it’s tiny — like it disappears into a pocket — but when you turn it on, the brightness is unreal. 1300 lumens from something this compact is no joke. Magnetic tail cap is great for hands-free work, and the side switch is easy to use even with gloves. I’ve been using it for camping, car repairs, and dog walks, and it hasn’t let me down. The recharge dock is slick and works fast too. It’s not cheap, but it feels like kit for life. If you’re into EDC, just buy it.

Good but hot
Great torch. Impossibly tiny. Does get quite hot though.

Impressed
This thing screams "quality" from the first moment you take the package into your hand. Including the packaging itself. I am really impressed by this tiny, yet very powerful light.

Fantastic little torch. BEWARE: it can easily be lost!
This has easily become my favourite carry around torch: versatile, reliable, good battery life and great quality build. Combined with the wireless charger (which I also have) it is a formidible set. I bought this torch to replace one that I lost as it is just so tiny. To try to prevent the same thing happening, I have attached a short loop of strong nylon cord (glued behind the torch clip to stop it moving around) and a split ring. Whenever this torch is out of its battery charger, I now always attach to a paracord lanyard which I made to help prevent me losing the torch. Since the nylon ring and spilt ring are small, it doesn't stop the torch going into the wireless charger.

Compact, Powerful and Genuinely Useful Everyday Torch
I’ve been carrying the Olight Baton 4 EDC torch for a while now, and it’s become one of those bits of gear that rarely leaves my pocket. I use it regularly while camping, hiking, and even just walking the dog, and it has helped me out more times than I expected. For something so compact, the brightness is seriously impressive. The 1300 lumen output is more than enough for lighting up trails, campsites, or dark paths, and it gives you plenty of confidence when moving around in low light. I like that it has multiple brightness settings as well, so you’re not always using full power when you don’t need it. What stands out most for me is how easy it is to carry. It’s small enough to comfortably sit in a pocket without feeling bulky, which means I naturally take it with me most days rather than leaving it behind like larger torches. The build quality feels very solid and durable, and it has handled being knocked around in pockets and bags without any issues. Battery life has been very reliable in real use. The different brightness levels make it easy to manage power depending on what you’re using it for, and charging is simple and convenient. It’s one of those torches that just works when you need it to. It’s also very straightforward to operate, which I appreciate when you’re outdoors or trying to quickly grab light without fiddling around with controls. I bought this on a BF deal and am happy with the price I paid rather than buying something cheaper which might not last as long. Pros: • Very bright for its size • Compact and easy to carry every day • Multiple brightness levels for flexibility • Strong, durable build quality • Reliable battery performance • Simple and easy to use Cons: • Higher brightness modes drain battery faster (expected with powerful compact torches) • Slightly easy to accidentally activate in a pocket if not locked (worth being aware of and getting in to the habit of locking it before putting it in your pocket or backpack). Who It’s Best For: This is ideal for anyone wanting a reliable everyday carry torch that’s powerful enough for outdoor use but still small enough to carry daily. Great for campers, hikers, dog walkers, or general everyday use. Overall, this has been a really dependable and practical torch that I ended up using far more than I expected. It’s compact, powerful, and does exactly what I need it to do.

Battery life, beam and button
I got this to replace a Baton 2 I thought I lost, since found it, always the way. Same price only advertised as better battery life with more settings, why not Battery life seems same if not worse. Beam has a yellow tinge to it when compared side by side with Baton 2 which personally not a fan of. The button is also flat compared to the baton 2’s bumped silicone/rubbery button, also lacks the felt and audible clicks when choosing settings which again, personally not a fan of. There’s also more lights next to the button to say how much battery there is and what setting you’re on, another change that wasn’t needed. Also there’s no loop hole for a lanyard in case you wanted one. That’s all I think is bad, not to sound like a moaner just I wish I’d of just got a second Baton 2 instead of going for the “upgrade” It’s a good torch, it’s small, weighs nothing, charges fast, very bright (does get hot) and if needs be you could dash it off someone’s head or use the strobe light in a defensive situation, idk. All in all, for the same price I’d say just go get yourself a Baton 2 S1R, it’s better, all black and the light is white not slight yellow.
