My pedicure person provided me with a pair of these to keep my feet warm in my flip flops after my pedicure in the winter. They are excellent for helping to moisturize and soften my heels which are severely cracked. I wear these to bed and they are softening my heels. I don’t expect them to repair my deep cracks, but they definitely help to softening the heels and reduce the pain caused by the deep cracks. If you walk barefoot or wear flip flops a lot, I definitely recommend that you give these a try! I don’t know the secret about how they work, but they do and that’s all that matters! They make a huge difference!!!

I was looking up foot creams and these heel socks popped up and I am so glad they did!!! I was having trouble walking because it was so painful with my heels having deep cracks. I have tried the foot files, the pumice stones, the metal file. None worked for long. I love being barefoot and wearing sandals whenever possible so my feet dry out. These socks eased the pain of the deep cracks overnight. The gel softened the very dry skin that makes the deep cracks so painful. I filed down the dead skin after but I no longer have to worry about the painful deep cracks because I sleep with the gel socks on my heels. Normally I cannot sleep with socks on because I get hot too easily, but because these go over the heal not the toes I do not have a problem sleeping with them on. The gel does feel a little weird when walking on it but I don't care, its totally worth it.

I am going to compare “Dr. Frederick's Original Moisturizing Heel Socks” with “Love, Lori Moisturizing socks.” The heel sock from Dr. Frederick's store has gel only in the targeted area, but they work great. They are very light and comfortable so that I am able to wear them under another pair of socks during the day, or by themselves all night. They are stated to be machine washable, but I have been hand washing and they continue to provide very soft and smooth heels. I like that they are 85% cotton. These sell about 7 times more than the other brand and have a higher rating.Now for the “Love, Lori” socks (3 stars): This product is a full sock, and has a hefty weight. They do treat cracked heels quite well, but the aroma was a bit overwhelming to me, even after hand washing. They are not intended to be worn for more than 30 minutes, and recommend not walking while using. About 1/3 of reviews mentioning the aroma reported it to be unpleasant. The S/M says for up to 8.5 foot size. I wear an 8.5 and found these to be a bit snug. Multiple reviewers said they ran small.Yes, these are two different options for foot healing, and my preferred solution may not be the same as yours. I hope this helps you decide what you are looking for.

They work fairly well on my abyssal recesses that are my heels (joking of course) but as long as i keep them on all day around the house and take them off at night they're great, not perfect, but they do what their designed for. too bad the quality/durability went down recently on the gel layer (for me at least). even if i got barely 2 weeks out of a 2x package its still well worth the money. sure they can washed, but with the gel layer thats a bad idea, but once they get worn out, just discard them, and use the second pair. just be careful when ordering, i had a torn box once but the heel socks were fine. i reccomend keeping the unused socks in a sealed bag to keep the 2nd pair from drying out.

I am literally amazed by these socks! My heels have been dry, cracking, and flaking off horrible over the last month! In the last month I have gotten 2 pedicures with extra scrubbing and I just feel like it made it worse! I have also tried moisturizing and scrubbing them daily in the shower! After doing some research I bought these socks.. after the first night of sleeping in them I woke up the next morning and I would say my heels are 75% better!!!! I was shocked! I am amazed and so thankful! My mom has struggled with dry heels as well I plan on giving her the second pair that came in the pack! I wish I would have taken before and after pictures! These are seriously a miracle worker! Bonus that they are also comfy. I normally can not wear socks at night to sleep I find in very suffocating and uncomfortable but these were super wet comfy!

My husband and I love Dr. Fredericks' Moisturizing Heel socks! They are awesome! We live in a very dry climate and our heels get very rough and cracked. Since we've been using Dr. Frederick's moisturizing heel socks, we do not have this problem! They work!

I don’t like sleeping in socks. These are sooo much better. Just enough foot coverage not to be annoying at night. Extra cushion in the heel is a great addition.
