This lamp blew my mind. For 8 years i have stopped drawing traditionally and only done digital. But the lightbulb in my head went off and thought one of the issues of pencil drawing was my lack of good lighting. I was right, This lamp refueled that lost passion for sketchbook drawing and ive already drawn over 100 things in a month. The brightness is really nice. On high settings i have a strong light which can be warm colors of solid white. Warm is nice on the eyes, and white bright is good for taking pictures of your art. I can't stress this enough how important this lamp is for artist. you can also dim the light to really low levels to use your lightbox to trace. Offering some light but not so much that it prevents you from tracing. It's also highly versatile with its 4 points of rotation. I can tilt the light away from my eyes with ease. I can swing it forward a little to take the glare off my tablet. Plus it attached nicely to the side of my desk. I got mine attached to the front of the desk since i got a big desk and the back is far away. It's very sturdy too and it looks nice. If i ever lost this lamp id buy a new one, it has become an essential part of my workflow.

Once COVID hit us in earnest, and I knew I would be home quite a bit more, like many of you, I decided to take back up interests that I'd long forgotten about. I used to draw a lot in my youth and had let it go ages ago. I decided to get back into it and took a room in the house and completely dedicated it to that pursuit. When I got done with inspiring wall art, the right drafting table, ambient lighting, etc., what was missing was the right light to shine down on the sketch pad. I needed something that fit the decor of the room, provided the right amount of light, and wasn't "in the way". This lamp is perfection. It has the look, sturdy build quality, functionality -- it bends like a contortionist, and it can pretty much be fixed to any surface. You honestly never know when you buy these things, if they are going to work in your space, and $50+ is nothing to sneeze at. But this was money well spent. From the moment I pulled the product out of the box and set it up, I knew I'd made a sound purchase. It was the missing piece.

After receiving the lamp and trying it out in my workspace, I'm very happy with the quality, price, and utility of this product! The functions and maneuverability of the lamp are easy to understand and offer a ton of options to use it however is most convenient for you. I found the clamping mechanism to feel easy to use and adjust while maintaining a tight grip on my desk surface to ensure the lamp didn't budge. The quality of the light itself is great for small work spaces - the light is targeted downward and the lamp can be adjusted to many different angles, allowing for bright work space without any unwanted light shooting up into your eyes while you work. The ability to control the bright/dim and warm/cool nature of the light is also very welcome depending on how much light you have elsewhere in the room / need for your task. I like to build and paint miniatures (like Games Workshop), and I purchased this lamp to attach as a semi-permanent fixture to my desk since I also use the same space for my computer. It's great to have the lamp clamped to the side of the desk and within arms reach to just swivel over and position however I like when I'm ready to dig into my hobby - it definitely saves me space without sacrificing utility or quality!

I bought this light in January of 2020. It is bright and highly adjustable. Mine malfunctioned in March of 2023 (which could happen to any random product and stopped working in March of 2023. I contacted the company and they quickly responded, apologized for the inconvenience, and ordered a new one sent within 4 days. The fact that the light did work for over 3 years before its glitch still suggests its a good product but what is certain is that the AmazLit customer service is excellent. I would be happy to buy from them in the future.

Great option for me. Takes up no space on the desktop, and the design is fantastic for shedding light in multiple ways. Great design and quality made.

After having yet another swing arm, screw-in bulb (LED, but still) lamp provide aggravation for years and then finally break, I gave the current products a solid look-through. I settled on this lamp because it was confirmed in the reviews and questions to rotate at the base, hold its position very well, and provide great light. Well, I can confirm that all of that was correct and then some! This lamp feels solid, it is incredibly sleek, it holds its position exactly where you put it, and it provides enough light all by itself to brighten any work space. The on/off control is truly touch-sensitive. Just the slightest touch turns it on or off. Working the fancier controls for dimming and light color were extremely easy since I was used to a ceiling fan remote doing the same thing. The light bar that swivels on the horizontal axis is awesome! You can easily lower the light to sit in front of you and turn it on a work piece for max visibility, or raise it up and swivel away for general lighting. As you can see with the photo of my daughter's art and sewing corner, it does a great job. And the pads on both top and bottom parts of the clamp securely hold the light to a smooth-surface desk or table (it would be perfect even on granite). I also have to mention the exceptional packaging. It is thin, light, and easily reusable since there is no assembly of the light needed. I am saving the box if I ever have to move or store the light. I am extremely impressed with the entire engineering effort that went into this light. No more collapsing metal-arm giant screw-in bulb desk lamps!

Got it for my 85 year-old mother so she can read in her recliner. It seems to work well so far. I bought her another one previous to this and that one didn’t really last that long kind of stopped working properly. I hope this one will last longer than the first one. She likes it. It’s easy for her to operate. It really is surprisingly bright.

La lámpara funciona como lo anuncian. Tanto el color de la luz como su intensidad son variables y los puedo ajustar fácilmente. El brazo es suficientemente largo y ajustable como para cubrir el área de mi escritorio donde necesito luz. La intensidad alcanza para hacer para trabajos de precisión, de día como de noche. La prensa de fijación es lo suficientemente fuerte para fijarla sin que se abra o doble. Pero ... La luz no es continua, "papadea", lo que hace que los ojos duelan mucho después de un par horas. La cambié por otra lámpara con un foco led convencional sin flickering porque trbajo muchas horas seguidas.
