Provides for very precise control
I have been using it off and on, and I just finished using it again. The design provides for very precise smooth control. It is good quality, not fragile. It is easy to release pressure to quickly stop the flow and prevent it from spilling out the end. One thing of note, pulling the plunger out requires pressing the release while NOT squeezing the handle. It's easy to squeeze the handle and the release, and then the plunger won't come out. But when properly released the plunger moves freely. I am very happy with this tool and in fact I tossed my old one with the serrated plunger that has to be click click clicked with pressure varying between clicks. This design is much better.

Very well manufactured caulk gun
I have at least three caulk guns loaded at any time in my shop; phenoseal in one, PL adhesive and vinyl for patching on the quick. Most are stamped steel of various gauges. The older ones are typically heavier, I have one that belonged to family members now gone that are tougher but lack the nozzle cutter and seal piercing rod which is darn handy. They all have nooks and crannies that are hard to clean if you have a tube blow out or over goop on the plunger or into the thrusting mechanism. The ones with a ratchet tends to break and clog more often. This one has an open design of heavier stamped steel for the spout end and the frame where the tube goes in which is two rails versus a 'pouch'. It's assembled to a heavy cast aluminum handle end that should hold up even with slightly solidified goop. I take old caulk that I want to use and put it in a plastic shopping bag and immerse it in warm water to soften it up before use. I keep a slow cooker around we broke the glass lid on that I used for heating all kinds of things. Instead of the ratchet rod this uses the smooth rod with a link that slides and grabs the rod to plunge the goop. I like this one. it's painted well and industrial like. It's okay to have a favorite caulking gun. It makes us aware of quality, makes us feel alive and that all is well with the world.

Just what I Needed
Huge Caulk Gun which is needed for very large caulking glue or cement etc. It worked great as i squeezed and glue evenly came out.

Quality build and smooth action
Quality build and smooth action. Puncture needle is too short though.

Short caulk stick
The stick to poke a hole in the caulk is a little short but otherwise this works great for my diy projects.

Solid well made caulk gun
Nice to use with heavier , viscous products like driveway crack filler- worth the money. Especially easy to use for my 69 year old hands..

Effortless dispensing, perfect control!
Wow, best ever manual caulking gun I’ve ever used! Effortless on my poor hands, especially with thumb joint issues. Didn’t want to spend the $ on power gun as I don’t use it every day. Once I calibrated myself to the minimal effort required, I found my control was greatly improved over other guns. I found no lag or lash to contend with and a quick press of the release stopped ooze. I highly recommend this, especially if you have old, sore hands like I do.

Industrial Strength vs Typical Hardware Store Options
I’ve been frustrated with caulk guns sold at home improvement stores for years. Impulsively bought an even cheaper one I saw at Harbor Freight and it kept slipping when I pulled the trigger—never even got it to dispense. Figured there had to be a better option online. Found this. Worth every penny. This is industrial grade. Twice the price of my Home Depot/Lowes guns, but ten times the quality. Felt the difference pulling it out of the bag. I’ll be buying more. I’ve only written a handful of reviews in my life. That’s how much this exceeded my expectations.
