Great laser / radar detector
Arrived quicker than stated. Nice sized detector, and it's picking up all radar signals so far. Yet to see a laser triggered reaction yet. I'd recommend this as a "just in case", so you can check your speed if it goes off.

Overrated do NOT buy
This thing just makes a lot of noise. To many false alarms. Worst still, I know where the cameras are on my regular roots and the darn thing does NOT go offer. Also on my route from work I drive past a park on side of the road and houses on the the other side, and thing goes crazy even though there is not camera, traffic light or even shop door in sight. Totally useless! Also the letters on the device and the instructions - totally useless. The designer of this thing has designed it for himself. He or she understands its, but no one else does. If you think buying this is going prevent you getting a ticket, then think again!

Simply doesn’t work in the UK
Having driven 1000 miles now with it installed, on motorways, dual carriageways, A and B roads, past gantry cameras, Gatso cameras, police mobile cameras. Not once has it uttered even a whimper. I was managing my expectations, but on the basis of too many false positives. I hadn’t expected silence from it. Oh well, I guess it was cheap, maybe you get what you pay for though.

Rubbish
Do not waste your money! This item is absolutely rubbish. The company obviously know this as they don't let you return for a refund. That speaks volumes.

Doesn't work in UK
I took a long road trip around the UK and went through 20+ speed check cameras without a single alert from this device. As soon as you enter a village the alerts go nuts, so seems to pick up every signal out there except speed traps.

I bought this for a 1600 mile road trip in May 2024. My only other radar detector was the excellent but really annoying Valentine one gen one (v1) that got stolen from my glove box after the thief broke my window. This has drastically better false alert filtering than the old V1. I love City mode 1 (City plus a dash is indicated). I get pretty much no beeps for automatic doors and most SUVs. Highway mode, it turns on all the detection frequencies. Out of the more than 100 cops that I passed on my trip, yes it was that busy, about 20 of them had their radar guns on. The other 80 plus had them off, so naturally the detector did not go off. Sometimes cops use a feature called instant on radar, where they wait for a speeder to drive by with their radar off, only to turn it on for a couple seconds. If you're on a dark and lonely highway, with no other traffic, guess what will happen with a $1,000 detector and a instant on radar gun. You will get the same ticket as this $55 detector. This detector has noticeably shorter range than my V1 on the highway. But, if you hear a detector go off at 2 mi out or half a mile out, you're going to slow down all the same. This radar detector has a really cheesy mount, but somebody mentioned that there's an aftermarket Mount for it. I will be getting that. And the stock mount is adjustable by either squeezing or opening up the metal to make it level. With a stock Mount, there is a bit of bounce to the detector, but it seems to work just the same. Is this as good as a top-tier detector? No, it was the cheapest model from the last generation. It has limitations in range, but it is way less annoying to use than my old Valentine one. It is an excellent deal for the price, but having said that I plan on keeping this one in the spare car, and buying a uniden r4 for my main car. Remember that most cops do not have their radar gun on when you pass them. Best bang for buck low cost radar detector, from my research the ones in its price range are noticeably worse in operation.

I've lost count of the number of times in the past year this detector has kept me from getting pulled over. It can be quite sensitive, but that is much better than not sensitive enough. Great list of features and fairly easy to operate. I put one side of the hook-and-loop tape on the bottom of the unit and placed it on my Dashmat in front of the driver. Works very well to keep the unit in place. This has kept my driving record clean and likely saved me much more money than it cost.

This is a great little radar detector..It works better than expected. This thing gets crazy loud as well. The suction cups could be better in the Texas summer, but my other radar detectors do the same thing. I bought this for my lead footed mother and her lead footed husband. They recently took and trip and it saved them several tickets, per my step father.
