I have the Garmin76ex and the holder is awesome for it. When they say what size this clamshell holder can accommodate, they are talking about the height, not the width. There are no width restrictions. This puts just the right amount of pressure on the Garmin to hold it, but certainly not enough to harm it! It's spring loaded. Excellent construction! Im going to velcro mine to my dash carpet. NO more stupid suction cups falling off the windshield while driving!!!And as you can see from the pics, plugging in the power cord and getting to the power button on the back is plenty easy. I just love this thing!!! Sure wish stores offered it!

Nice clam shell design holds my GPS well. Easy to install & doesn't allow movement when entering stuff on screen.

Not all areas are great for using Google Maps. We keep a Garmin Nuvi in the car for when we need to navigate.

I didn’t like it very much because once you put your Tom Tom in sideways, not much room for your plug in connection.
