Who wouldn't want to add something like this to help keep their PS5 even more cool? The 3 speed settings are nice and I just keep it on setting 1 as the other 2 settings are more powerful for sure but also louder. Most times I forget this is even installed it runs quiet but you can feel the heat it's pulling off the PS5 easy. Great addition I installed this on both of our PS5's!

Handy thing to have if your ps5 is in an entertainment stand. Does what it advertises and isn't super clunky. Only complaint is sometimes its a little noisy. Its not all the time and I assume it's just at times when the console is running a little warmer.

I got tired of my PS5 shutting off when it overheated so I made some modifications. This fan is a perfect fit on the first generation PS5. The tabs and the usb port line up perfectly for for a good fit. If you have your's horizontal like I do, you will have to position that horrible stand over a bit so it doesn't touch the fan - or you can do what I did and buy the NexiGo horizontal stands which are much better than the original. I also paired this with new faceplates (DOBEWINGDELOU) that have vents above and below the internal fan. Those let in more air and this fan blows out the hot air. When I first turn it on, if I stick my hand in the back, I can feel cool air coming out. Later I can feel the warm air being blown out. Not one overheating shut-down since I installed this. It has 3 settings. It does light up blue when its on. There is no way to turn that off, but it's not that bright and it doesn't bother me at all. It is not silent. I sit about 6 ft from the console. I keep it set on medium and when the game is quiet I can hear it, but otherwise I don't notice it. If it were on low, I wouldn't hear it. The high setting might bother me. The "auto" on/off does NOT mean that it turns itself on/off. If you have it on when you turn off your PS5, it will turn off with it. Then, when you turn the PS5 back on, the fan will automatically turn on to the same setting. I like that.

It works amazingly well and is powerful in just the lowest setting. Yes I know people say the ps5 doesn't need extra cooling etc but I call bs on that. For one the intake fan is on the top which unless you live in vacuum or clean it everyday dust will build up and restrict airflow. The intake fan also isn't in my opinion that strong. Bottom line this product makes a huge difference in keeping your ps5 cool and doesn't take away connectors and it's easy to install and use. The only con is that it's loud and fans are powerful? I personally don't care since the game noise drowns it out and I rather have a noisy fan than an overheating ps5 which diminishes it's longevity.

*EDIT* Apparently they offer 2 versions, one for the PS5 and another for the PS5 Slim, whatever that is. I can't find the word "Slim" anywhere in the packaging for my PS5, so either I don't have a Slim version, or Sony just doesn't advertise it as "Slim". Regardless, the unit may be fine, but the sellers really need to make it clear which version of the PS5 each fan is for, and not just with the word "slim". I just got a disk version PS5 for Christmas for my family a few weeks ago. I decided to purchase this in order to keep it cool. The product description claims that it supports the disk version. Well, thank goodness I tried it before Christmas morning! The back of my PS5 doesn't match the diagrams in the instructions at all! The HDMI port in their diagrams is near the power plug. Where they say to plug the USB in is where my HDMI port actually is. Sony may have changed the design at some point? I don't know, but the bottom line is that this doesn't fit my PS5. Be aware, if your HDMI port is not down near your power cable, this product will not work on your console!

Todos los que tenemos consolas de nueva generación sabemos lo que pueden llegar a calentarse en los juegos más exigentes y donde les pedimos potencia total durante mucho tiempo. Y para solucionar en parte, podemos hacernos con algún sistema externo de enfriamiento y de funcionamiento transparente para nosotros. . En el caso de la PS5, la salida de mayor caudal de aire caliente es en su parte trasera, y será la zona donde colocaremos este conjunto de tres ventiladores de alta velocidad, con iluminación azul y que se alimentará con el puerto USB de esa zona. . Todo el sistema está diseñado a medida para esa zona, por lo que solo tendremos que anclarlo al puerto USB de la parte trasera en uno de sus lados y las pestañas de sujeción del otro lado. Quedando totalmente anclado y fijo muy fácilmente. . Disponemos de un botón de encendido encima del puerto USB para activar el sistema de ventiladores en tres modos de potencia diferentes. Obteniendo unos caudales de movimiento de aire bastante correctos en todo momento y con unos ventiladores de muy bajo nivel de ruido. . El puerto USB al que se conecta de la consola, no se pierde y se ha incorporado un puente de USB para poder utilizarlo con cualquier dispositivo que tuviéramos conectado en el mismo. Manteniendo las característica completas de velocidad y capacidad de datos. . Su encendido y apagado puede ser automático al iniciar y apagar la consola por lo que su transparencia para nosotros será casi total. MUY COMODO Y EFICIENTE Por todo, me parece un sistema de enfriamiento adicional para nuestra consola MUY INTERESANTE por su comodidad, buen acabado y facilidad de uso. Quedando perfectamente integrado en la parte trasera sin sobresalir demasiado al ser muy compacto. Consigue ayudar a evacuar ese aire caliente del interior en mayor velocidad y se consigue que el interior de la consola pueda descender unos grados muy importantes para alargar la esperanza de vida de la consola y que en ambientes muy calurosos pueda apagarse sola por seguridad. El diseño y construcción es EXQUISITO y bien trabajado. Con ventiladores compacto de aspas de baja altura para una reducción del ruido, motores sin escobillas de larga vida y unos plásticos flexibles para absorber todas la posibles vibraciones del conjunto. MUY EFICIENTE y CASI OBLIGATORIO para alargar la vida de nuestra consola en habitaciones o salones muy calurosos.

Really great little fan, not too noisy you definitely can't hear it when playing games but you will notice it between loading screens etc. You can feel the difference it makes to the amount of heat being pumped out by the console, my ps5 feels much cooler since using this. The added usb port on the fan is an excellent addition, as this fits nicely into the usb at the back of the console. The blue light is also a very nice touch, giving great ambience. Great value for money, highly recommend.
