Celtic Cross, hand forged from Iron

Small hand forged Celtic Cross. There's something pure and simple about the cross form. It's one of my favorite shapes to forge. This cross was hand forged, the ring was shaped over the horn of the anvil and then forge welded together. If you look closely,, you can see the weld seam. I wire brush it and then give it a wax finish. Technical details: I used 3/4" by 3/16" flat bar to forge this cross. It's 9 1/4" tall by 6 1/4" wide. The ring is 3 1/2" and forged from 1/2. It can be mounted to the wall with the hanger on the backside.
